아동 수사면담 어려움 척도 개발을 위한 구성 요인 타당화 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 아동 수사면담의 어려움을 파악하기 위한 척도를 개발하기 위한 예비연구로써 경찰 수사관들이 범죄피해 아동의 조사 과정에서 어떠한 어려움을 경험하는지 경험적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 방법 선행연구들을 바탕으로 제작한 15개의 예비 문항을 범죄심리전문가의 검토를 거쳐 최종적으로 13문항을 확정하였다. 아동 조사 담당 수사관 66명을 대상으로 수집한 데이터를 이용해 탐색적 및 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, t검증 및 일원분산분석을 진행하였다. 결과 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 탐색적 및 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 총 3개의 요인(아동이해, 기분대처, 조사위협)이 도출되었다. 상관분석 결과, 아동 수사면담 어려움 척도의 아동이해와 조사위협 요인은 아동⋅장애인 수사 효능감과 유의미한 상관을 보였다. 마지막으로, 아동⋅장애인 수사 효능감과 아동 수사면담 어려움은 수사관의 성별, 연령, 직위, 경력에 따라 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 결론 본 연구는 아동 조사 시 수사관들이 경험하는 어려움의 내용을 구체적으로 평가할 수 있는 예비 척도를 구성하였다는 데에 의의가 있으며, 아동 수사면담의 어려움은 낮은 수사 효능감과도 관련이 있으므로 경찰 수사관들이 경험하는 어려움을 경감시킬 수 있는 제도적, 정책적 지원이 필요함을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is a preliminary study for developing a scale to identify the difficulties encountered during child investigative interviews and to understand the challenges faced by police investigators. Methods Based on prior research, a preliminary set of 15 items was created and reviewed by forensic psychology experts, resulting in a finalized 13-item scale. Data were collected from 66 police investigators responsible for child interviews, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), reliability analysis, correlation analysis, t-tests, and one-way ANOVA were conducted. Results Through EFA and CFA conducted on data collected from 66 child investigative interviewers, three factors were identified: “Understanding the Child,” “Coping with Mood,” and “Interview Threats.” Correlation analysis revealed significant relationships between the “Understanding the Child” and “Interview Threats” factors of the Child Investigative Interview Difficulty Scale and the Child/Disabled Victim Investigative Efficacy. Furthermore, the study found no significant differences in Child/Disabled Victim Investigative Efficacy and Child Investigative Interview Difficulties by investigators’ gender, age, rank, or years of experience. Conclusions This study identified the specific difficulties faced by investigators during child interviews. Given that these difficulties are associated with low investigative efficacy, more systematic support should be provided to mitigate the challenges experienced by investigators in child investigative interviews.
