어린이공원 관련 연구 동향 고찰

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 어린이공원 관련 연구 동향을 고찰함으로써 향후 교육학 및 어린이 관련 학문 분야에서의 어린이공원 관련 연구 방향성을 제시하고 학제간 융합연구의 필요성을 모색하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)와 누리미디어(Dbpia), 국회전자도서관에서 2001년부터 2020년까지 발표된 어린이공원 관련 학술지와 학위 논문 110편을 최종 선정하였으며, 이를 발표연도 및 기간별, 종류별, 분야별, 주제별 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 발표연도별 동향은 매년 평균 5.5편의 논문이 발표되었으며, 전반적으로 꾸준히 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 5년 단위 기간별로 2001~2005년에 23편, 2006~2010년에 30편, 2011~2015년에 28편, 2016~2020년에 29편으로 지속해서 연구되고 있었다. 둘째, 논문 종류별로는 학술지는 48편, 학위논문은 62편으로 학위논문이 학술지보다 상대적으로 많았다. 셋째, 연구 분야별로는 ‘도시/조경/환경’ 분야가 60편으로 가장 많았으며, ‘건축/디자인’ 분야는 34편, ‘기타’ 분야는 16편 순이었다. 넷째, 연구 주제별로는 어린이공원 계획이 40편으로 가장 많았으며, 어린이공원 활용방안은 26편, 어린이공원 평가는 23편, 어린이공원 안전은14편, 어린이공원 특성은 9편 순이었다. 결론 어린이공원 관련 연구는 다양한 학문 분야에서 연구되고 있으나 교육학 또는 어린이 관련 분야에서의 연구가 미흡하였다. 이에교육학 또는 어린이 관련 전공 분야에서의 어린이공원 관련 연구의 필요성과 방향성, 나아가 다양한 학문 분야의 지식을 종합하는어린이공원 관련 학제간 융합연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to suggest future direction for children’s parks-related research in education and children-related academic fields by examining research trends related to children’s parks, and to explore the need for interdisciplinary convergence research. Methods To this end, 110 academic journals and dissertations related to children’s parks published from 2001 to 2020 by the Research information Sharing Searvice(RISS), Nuri Media(Dbpia), and the National Assembly Library were finally selected. Research trends by field, and by topic were analyzed. Results First, as for the trend by year of publication, an average of 5.5 papers were published every year, and the overall trend showed a steady increase. By five-year period, 23 papers were continuously studied from 2001 to 2005, 30 papers from 2006 to 2010, 28 papers from 2011 to 2015, and 29 papers from 2016 to 2020. Second, by type of thesis, there were 48 academic journals and 62 degree thesis, which were relatively more than those of academic journals. Third, by research field, ‘urban/landscape/environment’ had the most with 60 papers, followed by ‘architecture/design’ with 34 papers, and ‘other’ with 16 papers. Fourth, by research topic, children’s park plans accounted for the most with 40 papers, followed by children’s park utilization plans with 26 papers, children’s park evaluations with 23 papers, children’s park safety with 14 papers and children’s park characteristics with 9 papers. Conclusions Research related to children’s parks is being studied in various academic fields, but research in education or children-related fields is insufficient. Accordingly, the necessity and direction of children’s parks-related research in education or child-related fields, and furthermore, the necessity of interdisciplinary research related to children’s parks to synthesize knowledge from various academic fields was proposed.
