학교문화예술교육 측면에서의 국악교수 전문성 개념 및 구성요소 탐색

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 학교문화예술교육 측면에서 국악분야의 교수 전문성의 개념 및 구성요소를 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 통해 교수이론과 실제교수역량간의 간극을 줄이고 전문성 있는 국악 교육자를 양성하는데 이론적 배경의 기초를 마련하고자 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 ‘병렬적 및 동시적 통합 연구방법’에 따라 연구는 진행되었으며 총 8개월간의 기간 동안 면담과 설문지 조사가 이루어졌다. 전형적 선택기법으로 교수경력 5년 이상을 충족하는 연구자들로 선정하였고 이들을 통해 수집된 자료는 빈도와 백분율로 나누어 분류되었으며, 전문성의 개념과 구성요소는 연구 참여자들의 진술을 해체하고 범주화하였다. 이후 전문가 검토를 거쳐 연구의 진실성과 신뢰성을 확보하였다. 결과 연구결과 첫째, 국악교수 전문성은 교육과정 속 국악적 가치를 올바르게 이해하고 음악적 요소를 학습하여 이를 전달하여 가르치기 위해 필요한 예술적, 교수학적 역량을 포함한 총체적인 수업능력으로 나타났다. 둘째, 국악교수 전문성의 구성요소로는 예술적 전문성, 철학적 전문성, 교수내용적 전문성, 교수학적 전문성, 공감적 전문성으로 나타났다. 결론 국악교수 방법이나 전문성을 포함하는 교육프로그램을 개발하여 보다 실증주의에 입각한 교육자와 학생간의 변인관계를 살피는 연구나 현재 개발되고 있는 국악교육 교수법, 프로그램 등 교육방법에 대한 지속적인 검증차원의 후속연구가 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is to explore the concepts and components of teaching expertise in the field of Korean traditional music in terms of school culture and arts education. Through this, we intend to lay the foundation for the theoretical background in reducing the gap between teaching theory and actual teaching competency and training professional Korean classical music educators. Methods To this end, research was conducted in accordance with the ‘parallel and simultaneous integrated research method’, and interviews and questionnaire surveys were conducted for a total of 8 months. Researchers who met more than 5 years of teaching experience were selected as typical selection techniques, and the data collected through them were classified into frequency and percentage, and the truth and reliability of the study were secured through expert review. Results As a result of the study, first, the professionalism of Korean traditional music teaching was found to be the overall teaching ability, including the artistic and pedagogical competencies necessary to correctly understand the value of Korean traditional music in the curriculum, learn and deliver musical elements. Second, the components of Korean traditional music teaching expertise were artistic expertise, philosophical expertise, teaching content expertise, pedagogical expertise, and empathic expertise. Conclusions It was suggested that educational programs including Korean traditional music teaching methods or expertise should be developed to examine the variable relationship between educators and students based on positivism, or follow-up studies on educational methods such as Korean traditional music education teaching methods and programs currently being developed.
