미래 미술교육을 위한 첨단매체 활용방안 탐구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 미래 미술교육을 위한 첨단매체들 중 360도 카메라와 VR 연계 프로그램인 틸트 브러쉬의 특성과 가능성을 분석하고, 그 가능성과 한계를 논의해 보고자 한다. 방법 본 연구는 질적연구로 2019년 2학기와 2021년 1학기에 H대학교에서 진행된 현장교사들이 참여한 대학원 강의를 사례연구하였다. 연구자는 참여관찰자의 역할을 하였으며, 첨단매체들을 탐색하며 논의한 쟁점들과 최종 성찰보고서를 분석하여 미래 미술교육의 가능성을 탐구하였다. 주제별 담화, 발표자료 및 보고서 등의 자료를 탐색하여 결과를 도출하였다. 결과 연구참여자들과 함께 360도 카메라와 VR 연계 프로그램들을 체험하고 탐색하는 과정을 통해 두 매체의 교육적 가능성을 검토하고, 미래 미술교육 현장에서의 활용 가능성과 한계를 논의했다. 연구자의 개인적 기기 탐구 및 체험의 과정 뿐 아니라 기 서술된 현장교사들과의 체험과 논의에 기반하여, 미래 미술교육을 대비하기 위한 첨단매체 활용의 방향성을 제시하였다. 결론 첨단매체 활용 미래 미술교육은 체험과 실험 중심으로 이루어져야 한다. 또한 첨단매체 활용 미래 미술교육은 학제 융합적 접근으로 이루어져야 한다. 마지막으로 첨단매체 활용 미래 미술교육의 활성화를 위해서는 교사교육과 예비교사교육이 선제적으로 이루어져야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, we analyze the characteristics and field applicability of the 360-degree camera, which are high-tech media for future art education, and the tilt brush, which is a VR-linked program, and discuss its possibilities and limitations. Methods As a qualitative study, this study conducted a case study of graduate lectures conducted by field teachers at H University in the second semester of 2019 and the first semester of 2021. The researcher played the role of a participatory observer and explored the possibility of future art education by analyzing the issues discussed and the final reflection report while exploring the high-tech media. The results were derived by searching for materials such as discourses, presentations, and reports. Results Through the process of experiencing and exploring 360-degree cameras and VR with the study participants, the educational possibilities of the two media were reviewed. And the possibilities and limitations of their application in the field of future art education were discussed. Based on the researcher s personal device exploration and experience process, as well as the previously described experiences and discussions with field teachers, the direction of the use of high-tech media to prepare for future art education was presented. Conclusions Future art education using high-tech media should be focused on experience and experimentation. In addition, future art education using high-tech media should take an interdisciplinary approach. Lastly, in order to vitalize future art education using high-tech media, teacher education and pre-service teacher education should be conducted preemptively.
