국문 초록

본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정에서 새롭게 제시된 통일 감수성과 평화 감수성의 의미를 밝히고 함양 방안을 제시하여 도덕과 교육에서의 통일교육 관련 내용에 대한 현장의 이해를 도모하고자 하였다. 통일 감수성은 분단과 통일 문제에 대한 감정적 반응으로 통일에 대한 인식, 관심, 열정, 태도, 의지를 의미한다. 그리고 평화 감수성은 평화에 대한 감정적 반응으로 이에 대한 인식과 관심, 의지를 의미한다. 여기에서 평화는 물리적·구조적 등 다양한 차원의 폭력, 그리고 다름과 구조 등 다양한 원인과 개인, 집단 등 다양한 수준에서 발생하는 갈등이 없는 상태로, 평화 감수성은 통일 감수성에 비해 사회 구조와 제도에 대한 인식과 이를 바꾸어 나가는 연대와 협력을 적극적으로 강조한다. 이 두 개념의 도입은 도덕 과 통일교육에서 감정적 측면을 부각하고 있음을 시사한다. 이에 본 연구는 도덕과 통일교육 에서 북한과 통일에 대한 다름과 두려움 등의 부정적 감정을 극복하고, 희망과 같은 긍정적 감정을 함양하여 통일과 평화에 대한 의지와 기대를 지속시킬 것을 제안하며 2022 개정교육과정에 따른 도덕과 통일교육의 새로운 방향에 대한 이해를 도모하였다.

영문 초록

This study identified the meaning of unification sensitivity and peace sensitivity newly proposed in the 2022 revised moral subject education curriculum and suggested ways to cultivate them in order to promote pedagogical understanding of the contents related to unification education in moral subject education. Unification sensitivity refers to awareness, concern, reaction, commitment, attitude and will toward unification as an emotional response to the issue of division and reunification. Peace sensitivity is an emotional response to peace, which means awareness, concern, commitment, attitude, and will. Here, peace is defined as the absence of violence in various dimensions and conflicts arising from various causes and at various levels. Then peace sensitivity, compared to unification sensitivity, actively emphasizes awareness of social structures and institutions and solidarity and cooperation to change them. The introduction of these two concepts means that moral subject education emphasizes the emotional aspect of unification education. Therefore, this study suggests that unification education in moral subjects education should overcome negative emotions such as difference and fear of North Korea and unification, and generate positive emotions such as hope to sustain the will and expectation for unification and peace, and provides an understanding of the new direction of unification education in moral subjects education under the 2022 revised curriculum.
