코로나(COVID-19) 상황에서 대학생활적응, 학업스트레스가 여대생의 우울에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 코로나(COVID-19) 상황에서 여대생의 대학생활적응, 학업스트레스, 우울정도를 파악하고, 여대생의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하기 위함이다. 방법 연구대상자는 경기도에 소재한 대학에 재학 중인 여대생 105명이었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0 Program을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 결과 대상자의 대학생활적응은 3.58±0.59점, 학업스트레스는 6.75±2.31점, 우울은 1.76±0.51점으로 나타났다. 학업스트레스는 대학생활적응과 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였고, 우울은 대학생활적응과 유의한 음의 상관관계를, 학업스트레스와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 회귀분석 결과, 대상자의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인은 대학생활적응(β= -.43, p<.001)과 학업스트레스(β= .19, p=.037)로 나타났다. 회귀모형은 통계적으로 유의하였고(F=18.87, p<.001), 전체 모형의 설명력은 25.6%이었다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 코로나(COVID-19) 상황에서 여대생의 우울 감소를 위한 교육 및 중재 프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 향후 관련 연구의 토대가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives To identify effects of college life adjustment and academic stress on depression of college women in the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods Subjects were 105 college women who agreed to participate in this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression were performed using IBM SPSS ver. 23.0. Results There were negative correlations between academic stress and college life adjustment. Depression positively correlated with academic stress and negatively correlated with college life adjustment. Significant predictors of depression included college life adjustment (β=-.43, p<.001) and academic stress (β=.19, p=.037). These factors accounted for 25.6% of depression (F=18.87, p<.001). Conclusions College life adjustment is the most significant factor affecting the depression of college women. To decrease their depression, it is important to develop and apply educational programs using factors influencing depression of college women. Results of this study will be useful as basic data for improving mental health of college women.
