국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 멘토링 기반 진로효능감증진 프로그램이 간호대학생의 진로발달과 전공만족도에 미치는 장단기효과를 파악하는 것이다. 방법 연구참여자는 2개 대학의 간호대학생 61명(실험군 28명, 대조군 33명)으로 구성되었고, 멘토링 기반 진로효능감증진 프로그램으로 소책자 2권과 워크북 1권을 개발하여 활용하였다. 연구자료는 2018년 9월부터 2020년 12월까지 4개 시점에서 진로발달의 하위항목으로 진로정체성, 진로결정, 진로준비행동, 진로효능감과 전공만족도를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 Chi-square 검정, Fisher의 정확검정, 반복측정 ANOVA 및 독립 t-검정을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과 본 프로그램은 중재 직후와 5개월 후에 진로정체성, 진로결정, 진로준비행동, 진로효능감, 전공만족도에서 실험군과 대조군 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났으나(p<.05), 중재 후 24개월에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 결론 간호대학생을 대상으로 하는 진로효능감 향상 프로그램의 장기적 효과를 강화하고 지속시킬 수 있도록 주기적인 재교육이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to evaluate the long and short-term effects of a career efficacy enhancement program on nursing students career development and major satisfaction. Methods The participants comprised 61 nursing students (28 in the experimental group and 33 in the control group) from two universities. Two program booklets and a workbook were developed and used in a career efficacy enhancement program that ran in 2018. Data were collected at four timepoints between September 2018 and December 2020, including career identity, career decision, career preparation behavior, career efficacy and satisfaction with major. The data were analyzed by using a Chi-square test, Fisher s exact test, a repeated measures ANOVA and independent t-test. Results The analysis revealed significant differences between the experimental and control groups in career identity, career decision, career preparation behavior, career efficacy and satisfaction with major in the short term(after immediately and 5 months)(p<.05), but not significant differences between the groups in the long term(after 24 months). Conclusions The career efficacy enhancement program improved nursing students career development and major satisfaction in the short term. It can be developed further and a revised program will be conducted, that can strengthen and sustain the long-term effects of the career efficacy enhancement program for senior nursing students.
