고등학교 교양 심리학 수업 실행연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 연구자가 온라인 공동교육과정 고등학교 교양 심리학 교과 수업을 운영하고, 그 결과를 분석하여 향후 효과적으로 수업을 운영할 수 있는 방안에 대해 모색하기 위해 실시되었다. 방법 연구자들은 실행연구 방법에 따라 계획, 실행, 성찰, 계획 수정의 순으로 연구를 진행하였다. 심리학 교과의 교육 목표를 고려하여 교육과정을 계획한 뒤, 한 학기 동안 온라인 공동교육과정으로 수업을 진행하였다. 수업을 수강한 학생들의 경험과 의견을 중심으로, 실행된 수업을 성찰한 후 그 결과를 바탕으로 수업 계획을 수정⋅보완하였다. 결과 분석 결과, 학생들은 생애 최초 실시한 쌍방향 온라인 방식으로 수업에 참여하고 수행평가를 실시하는 것에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 수업을 통해 심리학의 학문적 성격에 대해 알게 되었고, 자신과 타인, 사회에 대한 이해의 깊이를 더할 수 있었다고 응답하였다. 이는 심리학 교과가 청소년의 자기 이해와 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있음을 시사하였다. 참여 중심적 수업 운영 방식, 학생의 진로와 흥미를 고려한 수업 내용, 심도 있는 자기 이해를 위한 심리검사 실시 및 해석 등이 수업에 대한 학생의 만족도와 학습 효과에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 차기 수업계획안을 수정⋅보완하였다. 즉, 학생들의 흥미와 학습 동기를 고려하여 교육과정을 구성하고, 심리학에 대한 이해와 더불어 자기 이해 및 발달을 촉진할 수 있도록 다양한 교수방법을 활용하였다. 결론 수업설계 및 교수자의 역량, 교육과정 구성 및 운영 측면에서 고등학교 교양 심리학 수업의 교육적 효과를 높이기 위한 실천 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives Based on the researcher’s conducting high school psychology class operated by online interschool program, this study aimed to examine how to plan a better online high school psychology class. Methods We employed action research method comprising plan, action, reflection and modification. First, we designed how to carry out a psychology class considering the educational purpose of the subject and conducted the class operated by online interschool program for one semester. Then, we analyzed the students experiences and opinions and revised the future class plan. Results The analysis revealed that students could learn the scientific features of psychology and expand their understanding of self, others as well as society. This suggests psychology class positively affects adolescent s self-understanding and development. Moreover, student s satisfaction and learning progress seemed to stem from not only the participation-centered class operation and class contents composed based on participants interests and future career but also implementation and interpretation of psychological tests for in-depth self-understanding. Based on these results, we modified the class operation plan for the next semester. Specifically, we reorganized the curriculum reflecting students’ interest and learning motivation and employed various teaching methods to promote not only students’ understanding of psychology but their self-understanding and development. Conclusions We also suggested effective ways to operate high school psychology classes in terms of class design, instructional competency as well as curriculum construction and operation.
