프레젠테이션 영상 제작을 활용한 ‘쓰기-말하기’ 통합 교과 운영 방안

국문 초록

본고는 코로나19로 인해 2020년도 2개 학기에 걸쳐 비대면으로 진행한 A대학의 <글쓰기와발표> 수업 사례를 통해 쓰기-말하기 연계 교육 및 학습 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 해당 강좌는대학의 교양 교과 중 의사소통 역량의 강화를 목표로 ‘글쓰기’와 더불어 ‘말하기’라는 영역을 결합하고 있다. ‘말하기’ 영역이 독립적으로 구성된 교과가 아니기 때문에 주로 프레젠테이션 교육과실습을 하되 ‘쓰기’ 영역과 자연스러운 연계가 가능한 교수 방법을 모색하였다. 구체적으로 본고가 제시하는 모델 및 사례에서 역점을 두고자 한 것은, 첫째로 ‘글쓰기’와 ‘말하기’를 자연스럽게 연계할 수 있는 수업 설계이며, 둘째로 두 영역 사이를 잇는 ‘프레젠테이션글쓰기’와 ‘프레젠테이션 영상 제작’을 통한 학습자들의 자기 점검 효과이다. 나아가 비대면 수업에서는 학습자들의 능동적· 자기 주도적 학습을 자극하고 이끌어내는 일 역시 중요하다는 점에서그에 대한 효과 역시 주목하였다. 쓰기-말하기 통합 교과의 비대면 온라인 수업 방식에 시효를 더하고자 하는 의도에서 출발한해당 모델과 사례는 향후 비대면 상황이 유지될 경우에도 여전히 유효하리라 본다. 또한 자가진단 도구 등을 통한 자기 점검을 확대하고, 프레젠테이션 영상 제작에 이은 온라인 발표회 등으로도 확장해나갈 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This paper aims to suggest a writing-speaking integrated education and learning model, based on the case of curriculum in A university that was implemented online during two semesters of 2020 due to COVID-19. This lecture integrates ‘writing’ and ‘speaking’ domains in order to strengthen communication competence of liberal arts curriculum in university. Since the ‘speaking’ domain is not an independent course, this study focused on seeking a teaching method that could be naturally linked with the ‘writing’ domain, implementing presentation education and practice mainly. To put it concretely, the model and case that this study suggests put emphasis on the followings. The first is an instructional design that can connect ‘writing’ and ‘speaking’ naturally, and the second is a self-monitoring effect of learners through ‘presentation writing’ and presentation video making’ that form a link between the two domains. Moreover, this paper is focused on the effect of non-face-to-face class too, since it is also important to stimulate and induce learners’ active and self-directed learning in non-face-to-face class. It is considered that the relevant model and case starting from the intention to improve the limitation of non-face-to-face online instructions of writing-speaking integrated curriculum will still be effective even when the non-face-to-face situation lasts in future. It is also anticipated that using self-monitoring tools, it will be possible to expand self-monitoring and that this can apply to online presentations as well as presentation video making.
