국문 초록

본 연구는 우리 사회에서 적용될 수 있는 관계중독 척도의 개발을 위한 기초연구를 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 Whiteman과 Petersen(1998)의 관계중독 척도(Relationship Addiction Questionnaire; RAQ)를 바탕으로 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 14문항과 3요인 구조로 된 모형을 선택하였고, 확인적 요인분석을 통해 새로운 자료에서도 적합도 지수가 양호함을 확인하였다. 본연구에서 도출된 RAQ-14 척도와 RAQ 원척도와의 상관분석 결과, RAQ-14가 원척도를 비교적충실히 대표하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 집착행동, 사랑유형, 우울 변인과의 상관분석 결과를통해 수렴타당도, 변별타당도 및 준거타당도를 확보하였다. 본 연구는 한국형 관계중독 척도의개발에 앞서 우선적으로 RAQ의 타당성과 적절성을 탐색해보고 우리 사회를 구성하는 성인의관계중독 특성이 어떠한지, 이를 구성하는 하위요인들의 속성이 어떠한지를 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써 한국형 관계중독 척도 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 논의 및 제한점이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the Relationship Addiction Questionnaire (RAQ; Whiteman & Petersen, 1998) for use in the Korean society. An exploratory factory analysis suggested a 14-item three-factor solution, for the Korean RAQ, which exhibited adequate model fit in a confirmatory factory analysis. Each factor of the Korean RAQ was positively correlated with the original RAQ, suggesting that they represented the original scale authentically. Correlation analyses between the Korean RAQ and three criterion variables (i.e., jibchack Behavior, love type, and depression) confirmed that convergent, discriminant, and criterion validities of the scale. Prior to the development of the Korean RAQ, this study first explored the validity of the original RAQ, specifically examined the characteristics of Relationship Addiction among Korean adults, and identified the properties of the sub-factors that constitute it. This study is significant in that it intends to provide basic data for the development of the scale. Based on the research results, the discussion and limitations of this study were presented.
