국문 초록

최근 개편된 중국의 제8학년 역사 교과서는 세 가지 측면에서 그 의미를 평가할 수 있다. 첫째, 주요 역사적 사건을 통시적으로 설명하고 있다. 둘째, 특정 이슈에 대한 설명을 강화했다. 마지막으로 역사 서술에서 품성(品性)과 인성(人性)을 강조하고 있다. 그리고 국민들이 정치 생활에서지켜야 하는 가치(價値)와 규범(規範)을 강조하고 있다. 본 연구는 중국의 제8학년 역사 교과서 내용을 분석하고 있다. 중국 정치의 주요 주장이 교과서에 어떻게 서술되는지 분석하고 있다. 그리고 새로운 역사 교과서가 변화하는 정치 현상을 어떻게반영하여 서술하고 있는지도 살펴보고 있다. 특히 개정 역사 교과서가 시진핑 시기 중국 정치의주요 가치와 규범을 어떻게 설명하고 있는지 주목하고 있다. 이 연구를 통해서 우리는 정치적 담론이 역사 교과서에 어떤 방식으로 반영되는지 알 수 있다. 또한, 역사 교과서 분석을 통해서 우리는 교과서 개편이 갖는 정치적 함의와 의미를 발견할 수있다. 그리고 이 연구를 통해서 우리는 역사 교과서가 사회 성원들 재교육에 어떻게 활용되는지도알 수 있다. 이 연구는 역사 교과서와 정치의 관계를 이해하는데 기본적인 인식의 틀을 제공할것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The recently reorganized eighth-grade history textbook in China can be evaluated based on three aspects. First, it provides a general account of major historical events. Second, it reinforces the explanation of specific issues. Finally, the historical narrative emphasizes moral character(品性) and human nature(人性). Furthermore, it emphasizes the values(價値) and norms(規範) that people must abide by in their political lives. This study analyzes the contents of the eighth-grade history textbook to examine how the main arguments of Chinese politics are described. It focuses on how the revised textbook reflects changing political issues, especially the major values and norms of Chinese politics during the Xi Jinping era. The study highlights how political discourse is reflected in the history textbook. Additionally, we can discover the political implications and meanings of textbook reform, and how history textbooks are used to retrain members of society. The study is expected to provide a basic framework in understanding the relationship between history textbooks and politics.
