국문 초록

본 논문은 문화예술을 매개로 하는 도시재생의 이론적 배경 및 문헌 고찰을 토대로 재생 도시의 문화콘텐츠를 활용한 스토리텔링 연구를 기반에 둔다. 도시가 갖고 있는 문화적 유산과 상징적메시지를 담고 있는 스토리텔링 적용 방안을 고찰하여 도시재생의 취지와 목적에 부합하고자하였으며, 음악 콘텐츠 창작의 과정 및 공연 프로그램 분석을 중심으로 서술한다. 본 논문에서는2020 순천 아트페어 ‘사운드 가든 in 순천’ 프로그램을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 연구 주제가 갖는타당성을 확보하기 위해 연구 문제를 설정하고, 공연 프로그램을 위한 스토리텔링 적용 방안을제안하였다. ‘명상’과 ‘자연’의 이미지를 주제로 하는 스토리텔링 접근을 통해 도시재생 문화 공간에서 음악적 연출 및 음악의 청각적 이미지가 어떠한 배경으로 도시의 이미지를 연출하였는지분석한다. 또한 재생 공간에서 연출되는 음악 콘텐츠가 공연 및 ‘푸드 테라피’ 등 프로그램과연계되어 지역 시민과 소통함으로써, 도시재생과 관련된 문화예술 프로그램이 그 지역의 도시재생과 맥락을 함께 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구자는 음악 창작 및 기획자의 관점에서음악 콘텐츠 중심의 도시재생 스토리텔링 모델을 도출하고 도시재생을 위한 공연 프로그램의가능성 및 확장성을 제안하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This paper is based on a study of storytelling that uses urban cultural contents built on the theoretical background, and a literature review of urban regeneration based on culture and arts. Through research on the city cultural heritage and storytelling centered on symbolic messages, the paper aims to meet the purpose of urban regeneration, analyzing the creative process and performance programs of music contents. The 2020 Suncheon Art Fair “Sound Garden in Suncheon” program was selected as a research target, and research problems were set up to ensure the feasibility of research topics. In addition, the works were analyzed through storytelling application for performance programs. The storytelling approach was based on images of meditation and nature, and it was used to analyze how auditory elements have produced urban regeneration images in connection with performance programs in urban regeneration cultural spaces. By applying storytelling based on the city locality, it is believed that cultural and artistic programs related to urban regeneration will be able to share the context with urban regeneration in the region. In addition, cultural and artistic programs will be able to share the context with local urban regeneration by connecting music contents to performances and “food therapy” programs. This paper thus proposes the possibility and proliferation of performance programs for urban regeneration by deriving a music content-oriented urban regeneration storytelling model from the perspective of music creation and planners.
