국문 초록

본 연구는 3D 프린터기를 활용한 유아교사의 교육경험을 통해 유아교육현장에서의 3D 프린터 활용교육을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 교사와 유아를 대상으로 3D 모델링 프로그램 ‘틴커캐드’ 활용교육을 실시하였고, 3D 프린터기 활용한 교육경험에서 나타난 유아관찰과 교사 면담을 통해 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 교사는 3D 프린터 활용교육을 시작하면서 교육적 딜레마와 기술적인 어려움이 있었으나 시행착오 과정을 통해 적응하면서 새로운 발견의 즐거움을 느끼며 3D 프린터 활용교육에 대해 인식을 전환해 나가는 모습이 나타났다. 둘째, 유아는 3D 프린터에 흥미와 관심을 가지고 도전하며 다양한 경험을 통해 성장하고 능동적 참여를 통해 놀이를 즐기는 모습이 나타났다. 셋째, 3D 프린터 활용교육은 유아들의 창의력 신장, 놀이중심 교육실천, 공간 지각력과 배려심 향상, 미술영역에서의 놀이 확장 등의 교육적 가치가 있으며, 3D 프린터의 효과적인 유아교육현장 적용을 위해 교사의 인식변화, 환경적 지원, 하루일과 시간의 조정 등이 제안되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for education using 3D printers in early childhood education sites through the educational experiences of early childhood teachers using 3D printers. To this end, the data collected through interviews of daycare center teachers and observations of infants were analyzed. Looking at the results of the study, first, teachers have had educational dilemma and technical difficulties when starting education using 3D printers, but they are adapting through a trial and error process, feeling the joy of new discoveries, and changing their perception of education using 3D printers. appear. Second, infants have an interest and interest in 3D printers, challenge themselves, grow through various experiences, and enjoy play through active participation. Thirdly, education using 3D printers has educational values such as enhancing children s creativity, practicing play-oriented education, improving spatial perception and caring, and expanding play in the art field, and changing teachers perceptions for effective application of 3D printers to the field of early childhood education, environmental support, and day-to-day adjustments were proposed.
