미용고등학교와 미용학원의 교육시스템과 학업성취도 및 만족도 관련 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미용고등학교와 미용학원을 다니고 있는 고등학생 300명을 대상으로 교육시스템을 교육과정, 교육환경, 교·강사수준, 자격증취득, 진로기대로 구성하여 설문을 진행하고 교육기관에 따른 교육시스템과 학업성취도 및 만족도 인식 차이를 비교 분석하였다. 미용수강 목적에서 미용고등학교는 진학이, 미용학원은 취업이 많았고 자격증 수업 방식에서 미용고등학교는 이론위주의 수업이, 미용학원은 실기위주 수업이 많이 진행되고 있었다. 실무교육과 현장실습은 두 기관 모두 잘 진행되고 있지 않았으며 교육시스템 인식도, 교육만족도, 학습몰입 모두 미용학원이 높은 것으로 나타났고 학업성취도의 경우 지식은 미용고등학교가 높게 나왔으며 기술과 태도는 미용학원이 높게 나타났다. 교육시스템 인식도가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에서 미용고등학교의 교육과정 인식도가 지식에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 미용학원의 교육환경 인식이 학업성취도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며 교육과정과 교﹘강사수준이 기술에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 결론적으로 고등학생들의 학업성취도와 교육만족도, 학습몰입도를 높이기 위해서 미용고등학교는 전문화, 세분화 된 실기교육이, 미용학원은 체계적인 이론수업으로 두 기관의 장단점을 수용한 교육시스템의 체계적 수립 및 질적 개선이 필요하며 두 교육기관 모두 실무교육 강화가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

In this study, 300 high school students were surveyed in order to examine the impact of the education system of beauty high schools and beauty academies on academic achievement and satisfaction with subfactors of the beauty education system being composed of curriculum, educational environment, teacher·instructor level, certification acquisition and career expectation and academic achievement consisted of knowledge, skill, and attitude to conduct and analyze the survey. For the purpose of taking beauty classes, beauty high schools were mostly to get into college, beauty academies were to get a job and with the method of certificate classes beauty high schools have many theoretical classes while beauty schools have many practical classes, and both institutions have not made good progress in practical and practical training. The awareness of the education system, satisfaction with education, and immersion in learning all turned out to be high in beauty academies, while in the case of academic achievement, beauty high schools were found to have high knowledge, and beauty academies were high in skills and attitude. In the effects of awareness of the education system on academic achievement the awareness of the curriculum had a positive influence on knowledge and the awareness of the educational environment of beauty academies had a positive influence on academic achievement, with the curriculum and teacher·instructor level having a positive influence on skills. In conclusion, in order to enhance high school students academic achievement, educational satisfaction, and immersion in learning, beauty high schools need specialized and subdivided practical education, and beauty academies need systematic theoretical classes to improve the quality and structure of the education system that embraces the strengths and weaknesses of the two institutions, and also both educational institutions need to strengthen practical education.
