장애유아를 대상으로 한 그림책 관련 중재 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 장애유아를 대상으로 그림책 관련 중재를 실행한 연구들을 분석하여 장애유아를 위한 중재연구의 기초자료를 제공하고 향후 관련 연구에 필요한 시사점을 찾는데 있다. 이를 위해 2001년부터 2020년 6월까지 발간된 국내 학술지논문 33편의 일반적 특성과 중재환경, 독립변인과 종속변인의 연구동향을 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반적 특성 중 연구대상의 인원수는 1∼3명, 연령은 5세, 장애유형은 발달지체관련이 높은 비중을 차지하였으며, 연구설계방법은 단일대상연구가 많았다. 둘째, 중재환경 변인에서 중재자는 교사, 장소는 교실, 중재는 총 16∼20회를 실행한 경우가 많았으나 일반화가 제시된 경우는 매우 적었다. 셋째, 독립변인에서 사용된 그림책은 대부분 선정기준에 따라 기존 출판도서 중에서 선택하여 읽어주기 형태로 제시하였다. 중재활동 유형별로 분석한 결과 언어활동, 미술활동, 극 활동 순으로 나타났으며 최근 언어활동 이외의 비중이 높아졌다. 넷째, 종속변인은 언어발달 관련 변인의 비중이 가장 높고 사회·정서발달, 인지발달 순으로 나타났으나 점차 언어발달 외 다양한 변인을 고려하는 경우가 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 장애유형에 따라 종속변인을 고려한 경우도 있었으나 대부분 장애유형의 구분 없이 다루어지고 있었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 장애유아를 위한 그림책 관련 중재 실행방법에 대한 다양한 시사점을 도출하고 후속연구에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the studies which conducted intervention using picture books for children with disabilities, and to find applications for further studies to provide basic information for intervention studies for young children with disabilities. To this end, targeting a total of 33 articles published in domestic journals from 2001 to June 2020, the research trends including general characteristics, intervention setting, independent and dependent variables were analyzed. Findings of analysis are as follows. First, among the general characteristics, the variables showed the highest proportion were the number of young children in 1∼3, the age 5 in average, and developmental delay as the type of disability, and the single subject design as the research method. Second, the intervention setting variables in the highest proportion were the teachers as intervention implementer, the classroom as intervention place, and a total of 16∼20 intervention sessions. However, there were few studies that include generalization sessions. Third, most of the picture books used as independent variables were mostly presented in the form of book reading by selecting in existing published books according to the selection criteria. Analyzing by the type of intervention activities, the higher proportion of those activities were language activities, art activities and dramatic activities in order. Also, the proportion of other activities was recently increasing. Fourth, the dependent variables showed the highest proportion were related to language development, followed by social·emotional development and cognitive development. Also, the number of cases considering various variables other than language development was gradually increasing. A few studies selected dependent variables considering the type of disability. However, most of studies applied dependent variables regardless of the type of disability.
