국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교육 현장에 있는 교사들이 PBL 문제를 개발하고 수업운영 계획을 수립하는데 주로 겪는 문제점을 파악하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 실천지침을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 처음 PBL을 준비하는 교사들이 PBL 연수를 마친 후 자신들의 수업을 PBL로 운영하기 위해 개발한 PBL 문제와 수업운영계획서를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 연구진은 문헌분석을 통해 결과물들을 분석하기 위한 기준을 설정하고, 2인이 1조가 되어 수집된 결과물들을 교차분석하였다. 문제분석에 사용된 기준으로는 ‘학습목표와의 연계성’, ‘포괄성’, ‘실제성’, ‘관련성’, ‘협력성’이었으며, PBL 수업운영 계획 분석을 위한 기준은 ‘PBL 단계의 충실성’, ‘차시 안배의 균형성’, ‘PBL 교수방법의 충실성’이었다. 분석 결과 교사들은 연수를 통해 PBL 개념 및 원리들을 학습했지만 실제 문제를 개발하고 수업운영계획을 수립하는 데에는 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 기반으로 PBL 문제개발과 수업운영계획 시 고려해야 할 구체적인 실천 지침을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify errors faced by teachers in developing PBL problems and implementation plans, and to develop practical principles to solve them. For this purpose, this study analyzed the PBL problems and the PBL implementation plans developed by the teachers who participated in PBL education. The researchers developed the criteria for analyzing the PBL materials through literature review, and conducted cross-analysis of the collected materials with a team of two researchers. The criteria for analyzing the PBL problems were ‘connectivity with learning objectives’, ‘inclusiveness of learning contents’, ‘authenticity of problem’, ‘relevance’, ‘collaboration’. And the criteria for analyzing the PBL implementation plan were ‘fidelity to PBL process’, ‘appropriateness of the time allotment’, and ‘fidelity to PBL teaching methods’. The result has shown that teachers were having difficulties in establishing a plan to apply concepts and principles learned through PBL training to actual classes. The principles for PBL problem development and PBL implementation plan are emerged from the results of the analysis.
