보육교사의 자아탄력성과 교직열정과의 관계에서 교사효능감의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 자아탄력성과, 교직열정, 교사효능감의 관계를 분석하고 보육교사의 자아탄력성과 교직열정과의 관계에서 교사효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울특별시, 경기도에 소재한 어린이집의 보육교사 540명을 연구대상으로 설문지를 수집하였으며, 회수된 483부의 설문지를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구결과는 첫째, 보육교사 자아탄력성, 교직열정, 교사효능감이 다소 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 자아탄력성 하위변인과 총점과 교직열정 하위변인과 총점 간에 모두 정적인 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또한 보육교사의 교직열정 하위변인과 교사효능감 하위변인 간에는 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사의 자아탄력성과 교직열정과의 관계에서 교사효능감의 매개효과를 알아본 결과, 보육교사의 교사효능감은 보육교사의 자아탄력성과 교직열정과의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 보육교사의 자아탄력성과 교사효능감은 교직열정과 관련이 있는 중요한 변인이며, 교직열정을 높이기 위해 보육교사의 자아탄력성과 교사효능감을 개발시키기 위한 지원이 필요함을 시사하고 있으며, 이와 관련하여 사회적 지원 방향을 모색하기 위한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the self-elasticity of teachers, the passion for teaching, and the teacher s efficacy, and to examine the mediating effect of the teacher s efficacy in the relationship between the teacher s efficacy and the passion for teaching. For this, 540 the child care teachers in daycare centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were collected as research subjects, and 483 copies of the collected questionnaires were used for final analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the self-elasticity of teachers, the passion for teaching, and the teacher s efficacy were rather high. Second, there was a positive correlation between the sub-variance and total score of the self-elasticity of teachers and the sub-variance and total score of the passion for teaching. In addition, there was a positive correlation between the sub-variant of the passion for teaching and the teacher s efficacy. Third, as a result of examining the mediating effect of teacher efficacy in the relationship between the self-elasticity of teachers and the passion for teaching, it was found that the teacher s efficacy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the self-elasticity of teachers and the passion for teaching. The results of this study suggest that the self-elasticity of teachers and the teacher s efficacy are important variables related to the passion for teaching profession, and it is necessary to support the development of the self-elasticity of teachers and the teacher s efficacy in order to increase the passion for teaching.
