청소년의 창의적 체험활동 참여가 협업능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 창의적 체험활동 참여와 자아존중감, 협업능력의 관계를 구조적으로 분석하는 것이다. 이를 분석하고자 한국청소년정책연구원에서 제공하는 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018 (KCYPS 2018)의 1차년도, 중1 코호트 패널자료에 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 청소년기의 창의적 체험활동 참여는 협업능력에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창의적 체험활동 참여도가 자아존중감에 정적인 영향을 주는 결과가 나타났다. 셋째, 자아존중감이 높을수록 협업능력도 높아진다는 결과가 나타났다. 넷째, 창의적 체험활동 참여와 협업능력의 관계에서 자아존중감의 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 이러한 주요 연구 결과를 토대로 청소년의 협업능력을 높이기 위해 창의적 체험활동, 자아존중감의 역할을 인식하고 이를 제고하기 위해 다양한 프로그램에 대한 참여 기회 제공의 필요성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship among adolescents’ creative experience activities, self-esteem and collaborative abilities. To do this, structural equation modeling was applied to wave I (first grade of academic middle school) of the Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey 2018(KCYPS 2018) dataset provided by National Youth Policy Institute. The results of this study were as follows: First, adolescents’ creative experience activities participation had a positive effect on collaborative abilities. Second, adolescents’ creative experience activities participation had a positive effect on self-esteem. Third, self-esteem had a positive effect on collaborative abilities. Fourth, the results of the mediating effect showed that self-esteem was partially mediated by the relationship between adolescents’ creative experience activities participation and collaborative abilities. Based on these major research results, this study suggests recognition of the role of creative experience activities participation, self-esteem and need for opportunities for adolescent to participate in various and continuous programs to enhance the collaborative abilities of adolescents.
