지자체 청소년 진로체험 프로그램 운영과정 질적 사례연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 지자체 청소년 진로체험 프로그램의 운영과정과 그 과정의 특징 및 의미를 밝히기 위해 미래시 청소년진로박람회를 중심으로 질적 사례연구를 수행하였다. 방법 지자체 청소년 진로 프로그램 운영과정을 이해하기 위해 질적 연구를 실시하였고, 박람회 준비 업무가 이루어지는 센터 사무국과 실제 박람회 현장을 참여관찰하고 사업 담당 실무자와 심층면담을 진행했으며 개방 기타 개방된 공적 문서 및 홍보 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 결과 연구 분석 결과, ‘급박하게 준비하기’, ‘타 축제와 동시 진행하기’, ‘빠르게 마무리와 차년도 기획하기’라는 3단계 운영과정이 나타났다. 또한 진로 프로그램 운영과정의 특징으로 ‘트랜디한 인기 진로 콘텐츠 세팅’, ‘학교 및 지역사회 청소년 진로 유관기관과의 협업 미비’, ‘타 축제들과 동시 개최로 많은 참여와 상대적으로 존재감 미약’한 특징이 도출되었다. 결론 이에 본 연구는 지자체 주최의 진로체험 콘텐츠 요구조사 분석 및 체험 프로그램 개발 필요, 학교와 관계기관과의 긴밀한 ⋅ 네트워크와 협업 촉구, 진로 박람회 또는 진로 축제 등 대규모 진로체험 프로그램 추진 시 단독 개최와 타 행사 연합 개최에 따른 장단점에 대한 면밀한 분석으로 양면의 결과를 예측하여 동시 개최 여부를 선택해야 할 것을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study conducted a qualitative case study focusing on the Future City Youth Career Fair to reveal the operation process of the local government youth career experience program and the characteristics and meaning of the process. Methods Qualitative research was conducted to understand the operation process of local government youth career programs, and data were collected through participatory observation and in-depth interview research techniques. Results As a result of the research analysis, the three-step operation process of “prepare urgently,” “concurrently proceeding with other festivals,” and “finishing quickly and planning the next year” appeared. In addition, characteristics of the career program operation process were “setting trendy popular career content,” “lack of collaboration with school and local youth career-related organizations,” and “a lot of participation and relatively weak presence” due to simultaneous holding of other festivals. Conclusions Accordingly, this study suggested that local governments need to investigate, analyze, and develop experience programs for career experience content, urge close networks and collaboration with schools and related organizations, and carefully analyze the pros and cons of holding solo and holding other events when promoting large-scale career experience programs, such as career fairs or career festivals, predict the results of both sides and choose whether to hold them simultaneously.
