비대면(Untact) 시대 백워드 설계 기반의 대학 교양 교육과정 운영 모형 개발 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 팬데믹으로 가속화된 언택트 시대에 대학 교양 교육과정 운영을 원활하게 하기 위한 모형을 개발하여 현장에서의 혼란을 줄이고, 궁극적으로 선택적인 대면수업과 비대면 원격수업의 다양한 활용이 가능하도록 하는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 A대학의 교양 교육과정에서 함양해야 하는 역량을 살펴보고, 백워드 교육과정 설계 이론과 그 통합 관계를 고찰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 초기 백워드 설계 기반의 교양 교육과정 운영 모형을 도출하여 총 2차례의 관련 전문가 검토와 사용성 평가를 통하여 수정보완을 거쳐 최종 모형을 도출하였다. 결과 그 결과 언택트 시대의 백워드 설계 기반의 교양 교육과정 운영 모형은 개념모형과 상세모형으로 구분하여 도출되었다. 개념모형은 교양교육의 목적과 목표 및 백워드 교육과정 설계 단계를 구분하여 설명한다. 상세모형은 백워드 설계 기반의 교양 교육과정 운영에 필요한 정보를 함의하며, 필수교양과 일반교양으로 구분하여 대면수업과 비대면 원격수업, 그리고 두 수업방식과 이러닝을 절충한 하이브리드 수업의 활용을 제안한다. 이 모든 과정은 교육과정 운영 절차에 따라 교육과정 설계, 운영, 평가, 환류 체계에서 이루어지며, A대학의 교과목 개선과 교육과정 개선 체계를 통하여 환류가 이루어짐을 반영하였다. 결론 본 연구는 언택트라는 흐름을 반영하여 교양 교육과정 운영 모형 개발을 통하여 대학 현장에서의 혼란을 줄이고 선택적인 수업 방법의 폭을 넓혀 다양한 수업 방식을 가능하도록 한다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to develop a model to facilitate the operation of the university liberal arts curriculum in the pandemic-accelerated era to reduce confusion in the field and ultimately enable the use of selective face-to-face and non-face-to-face small classes. Methods To this end, the competencies to be cultivated in the liberal arts curriculum of University A were examined, and the integrated relationship with the backward curriculum design theory was examined. Based on this, a liberal arts curriculum operation model based on the initial backward design was derived. The final model was derived through correction and supplementation through two reviews of related experts and usability evaluation. Results As a result, the operation model of the liberal arts curriculum based on the backward design in ‘the untact era’ was derived by dividing it into a conceptual model and a detailed model. The conceptual model explains the purpose and goal of liberal arts education and the stage of designing the backward curriculum separately. The detailed model implies information necessary for the operation of the backward design-based liberal arts curriculum and proposes the use of face-to-face and non-face-to-face small classes and hybrid classes that compromise the two methods and e-learning. According to the curriculum operation procedure, these courses are conducted in the curriculum design, operation, evaluation, and reflux system. The reflux is reflected through the curriculum improvement system of University A. Conclusions This study is meaningful because it enables various teaching methods by reducing confusion in the university field and expanding the scope of selective teaching methods through developing a liberal arts curriculum operation model.
