간호대학생의 환자안전관리 수행자신감과 의사소통 명확성이 환자안전관리 행위에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 환자안전관리 수행자신감과 의사소통 명확성이 환자안전관리 행위에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위함이다. 방법 충북과 강원도에 소재한 2곳의 대학교 간호학과에 재학 중인 임상실습 경험이 있는 4학년 학생 122명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집을 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 26.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, Hierarchical regression analysis로 분석하였다. 결과 환자안전관리 수행자신감은 의사소통 명확성(r=.645, p<.001), 환자안전관리 행위(r=.694, p<.001)와 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었고, 의사소통 명확성도 환자안전관리 행위(r=.833, p<.001)와 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과 환자안전관리 행위에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인은 환자안전관리 수행자신감(β=.27, p<.001), 의사소통 명확성(β=.65, p<.001)으로 나타났으며, 총 설명력은 75.2%이었다. 결론 간호대학생의 환자안전관리 행위 증진을 위해 환자안전관리 수행자신감과 의사소통 명확성을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육프로그램 개발과 더불어 실제 시뮬레이션실습 수업에서 환자안전관리 시나리오 적용을 통한 몰입태도와 적극성을 높여 환자안전관리 수행자신감과 의사소통 명확성을 강화시킬 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was to investigate the influence of confidence in performance of patient safety management and clarity of communication on behavior of patient safety management by nursing students. Methods Data were collected using structured questionnaires from 122 grade 4 with clinical practice experience enrolled in nursing departments at 2 universities located in Chungbuk and kangwon. For the collected data, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 26.0 statistical program. Results Confidence in performance of patient safety management had a statistically significant positive correlation with clarity of communication (r=.645, p<.001) and behavior of patient safety management (r=.694, p<.001). Clarity of communication also had a statistically significant positive correlation with behavior of patient safety management (r=.833, p<.001). As a result of hierarchical regression analysis, the factors significantly influencing the behavior of patient safety management were Confidence in performance of patient safety management (β=.27, p<.001) and clarity of communication (β=.65, p<.001), with a total explanatory power of 75.2%. Conclusions In order to promote the behavior of patient safety management nursing students, it is necessary to develop an educational program can improve clarity of communication and confidence in performance of patient safety management. Also, it is necessary to enhance clarity of communication and confidence in performance of patient safety management by increasing immersion attitude and activeness in relation to the experience through the actual simulation practice class.
