국문 초록

기술의 발전은 디지털 리터러시라는 새로운 리터러시를 등장시켰고, 이에 전 세계적으로 디지털 리터러시 역량 향상을 위한 교육적 방안을 수행 중에 있다. 그러나 대학생의 디지털 리터러시에 대한 관심은 상대적으로 부족하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이들의 디지털 리터러시 수준에 미치는 디지털 리터러시 태도의 영향 정도를 분석하고자 하였다. 이에 대학생 269명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 현재 대학생의 디지털 리터러시 태도(3.77)는 수준(3.75)보다 평균값이 높았다. 둘째, 디지털 리터러시 태도와 수준 간의 상관은 r=.736으로 매우 높은 정적 상관관계가 나타났는데, 각 변인의 하위 변인들 중에서는 ‘효능감’과 ‘인터넷 활용 능력’의 상관계수가 r=.737로 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 디지털 리터러시 태도는 그 수준에의 영향 정도가 73.6%로 나타나 디지털 리터러시 태도가 강력한 영향력을 확인하였다. 구체적으로 디지털 리터러시 태도 하위 변인 중 ‘효능감(β=.372) > 자기조절(β=.286) > 참여(β=.269)’의 순으로 디지털 리터러시 수준에 미치는 영향력이 강하게 나타났다. 이를 통해 대학생의 실질적인 디지털 리터러시 역량 향상을 위해 현재 대학에서 수행되는 기술 중심의 교육에서 더 나아가 대학생의 디지털 리터러시 태도와 관련된 교육이 수행되어야 함을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Advances in technology have introduced a new literacy called digital literacy. So there is a strong interest in digital literacy competency worldwide. However, digital literacy research for college students is relatively insufficient. Therefore, this study attempted to analyze the degree of influence of digital literacy attitudes on their digital literacy competency. Accordingly, a questionnaire was conducted for 269 college students, and the results are as follows. First, the current digital attitude of college students(3.77) was higher than the competency(3.75). Second, the correlation between digital literacy attitude and competency was very high with r=.736. Third, the degree of influence of the digital literacy attitude on the digital literacy competency was 73.6%, confirming that the influence was very strong. Through this, it was confirmed that in order to improve the practical digital literacy competency of college students, education related to the digital literacy attitude of college students should be carried out in addition to the technology-oriented education currently conducted in universities.
