국문 초록

이 연구는 학업중단 청소년의 여가 시간 사용의 종단적 변화를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 학업중단청소년패널조사의 자료를 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 대상인 학업중단 청소년의 여가시간활용이 시간에 따라 변화하는 형태를 추정하고 변화 사이의 관련성을 검증하기 위해, 잠재성장모형을 활용한 모형을 활용하였다. 변인의 변화를 예측하고 유의미한 차이가 있는지 알아보고, 차이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 포함한 모형을 검증하기 위해 다변량 잠재성장 모형을 적용하였다. 이 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학업중단 청소년의 여가시간은 선형적 변화를 보이며, 시간이 지날수록 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인구통계학적 변인(성별, 부모의 학력 및 경제적 수준)에 따른 학업중단 청소년의 여가시간 사용은 유의미한 차이가 없다. 셋째, 부모애착 중 부모의 경제적 지원은 여가시간의 초기값에는 영향을 주지만 이후 변화율에는 영향을 주지 않는다. 부모의 정서적 지원은 초기값에는 영향을 주지 않지만 이후 변화율에 유의미한 영향을 준다. 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 학업중단 청소년이 여가시간을 적절히 사용할 수 있도록 하는데 필요한 지원을 수립하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the longitudinal changes in leisure time use of adolescents who have dropped out from school. For this purpose, the data from the Korean Youth Policy Research Institute s Youth Panel Survey was used to analyze. A model using the latent growth model was used to estimate the change in the use of leisure time of the study subjects, that is adolescents who stopped studying. Multi-variate latent growth model was applied to predict the change of the variable, to find out if there is a significant difference, and to verify the model including the factors that influence the difference. The results of this study were as follows. First, it was found that the leisure time of adolescents who have dropped out from school showed a linear change, and decreased as time passed. Second, there is no significant difference in the use of leisure time by adolescents who have dropped out from school according to demographic variables(gender, parents educational background, and economic level). Third, parents economic support among parental attachment affects the initial value of leisure time, but it does not affect the rate of change afterwards. Parents emotional support does not affect the initial value, but significantly affects the rate of change afterward. Based on the results. we hope this study could provide general discussion for establishing the support necessary to ensure that adolescents who have dropped out from school can use their leisure time appropriately.
