가정 내 학대경험이 중학생의 자살생각에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 가정 내 학대경험과 자살생각 간 관계에서 우울·불안과 인터넷 중독의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여, 2018년 한국복지패널 제13차년도 아동부가조사 자료를 사용하였고 조사 응답 중학생은 391명이었다. 구조방정식모형(structural equation modeling)을 이용하여 가정 내 학대경험이 우울·불안과 인터넷 중독을 매개로 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 매개모형의 적합도를 검증하고, 부트스트랩핑(Bootstrapping)을 적용하여 우울·불안과 인터넷 중독의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정 내 학대경험, 우울·불안, 인터넷 중독, 자살생각은 모두 정적(+) 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 가정 내 학대경험이 자살생각에 직접 영향을 미치기보다 우울·불안과 인터넷 중독을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 경로가 유의하였다. 셋째, 가정 내 학대경험과 청소년의 자살생각 간 관계에서 우울·불안과 인터넷 중독의 순차적 매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기존 연구들이 변수 간 관계를 부분적으로 검증했던 한계를 보완하여, 가정 내 학대경험에서 자살생각으로 이어지는 진행 과정을 우울·불안과 인터넷 중독과 관련지어 살펴보았다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the sequential mediated effects of depressionxiety and internet addiction in the relation between experience of domestic child abuse and middle school students′ suicidal ideation. For this study, we used data from the 13th wave the Korea Welfare Panel Study(KOWEPS), and the analysis was conducted on 391 middle school students. The structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to test the goodness of fit of the mediation models in which the relation between experience of domestic child abuse and middle school students′ suicidal ideation is mediated by their depressionxiety and internet addiction. Bootstrapping procedure was applied to test the sequentia mediated effects of depressionxiety and internet addiction. The results were as follows: first, experience of domestic child abuse were positively associated with depressionxiety, internet addiction and middle school students′ suicidal ideation. Secondly, domestic child abuse does not have direct effect on middle school students′ suicidal ideation. it has indirect effect through depressionxiety and internet addiction. Third, domestic child abuse affected depressionxiety, which in turn influenced internet addiction, which eventually affected middle school students′ suicidal ideation. These results support an integrative framework delineating the role of depressionxiety and internet addictions multiple mediators in the process through which domestic child abuse affects middle school students′ suicidal ideation.
