유치원 아동어머니의 정서지능, 자아분화, 양육효능감이 양육태도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 D시와 G도에 거주하는 유치원아동 어머니의 정서지능, 자아분화, 양육효능감이 양육태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 조사는 예비조사를 거쳐 무작위로 총318명을 추출하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사기간은 2019년12월 ~ 2020년2월까지이다. 연구자료는 SPSS 25.0프로그램을 이용하여 조사대상자의 특성을 살펴보기 위한 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 정서지능, 자아분화, 양육효능감의 정도와 상관관계를 살펴보기 위한 기술통계, 상관관계분석을 실시하였다. 또한 정서지능, 자아분화, 양육효능감이 양육태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 계층적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정서지능, 자아분화, 양육효능감, 양육태도 정도는 5점 Likert 척도에서 각각 3.44, 3.40, 3.38, 3.35로서 보통수준이상으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정서지능, 자아분화, 양육효능감, 양육태도의 상관관계에서는 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 양육태도의 하위변인인 거부는 자아분화, 정서지능, 양육효능감과는 부적상관을 보였다. 셋째, 자아분화, 정서지능, 양육효능감이 양육태도에 미치는 영향요인을 알아보기 위하여 실시한 계층적 회귀분석에서는 자아분화, 정서지능, 양육효능감이 양육태도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 특히 양육효능감이 양육태도에 미치는 상대적 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 결과는 유치원 아동어머니의 긍정적 양육태도를 증진시키기 위해서 유치원 아동 자녀를 가진 어머니의 자아분화, 정서지능, 양육효능감을 고려하고 특히 양육효능감을 높여 긍정적 양육태도가 형성될 수 있는 교육훈련프로그램의 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The object of this study is to examine the relative effects of emotional intelligence, self-differentiation, and parenting efficacy of mothers raising preschoolers in City G and province D on their parenting attitude. The survey was conducted of a total of 318 people who were randomly extracted through a preliminary survey and carried out between December 2019 to February 2020. As for the research data, a frequency analysis was conducted to examine the characteristics of the subjects. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were conducted as well to examine the degree of and correlation of emotional intelligence, self-differentiation and parenting efficacy. Also, a hierarchical multiple regression test was conducted to examine the effects of parenting efficacy on parenting attitude. The results were as follows: First, emotional intelligence, self-differentiation, parenting efficacy and parenting attitude of the mothers were 3.44, 3.40, 3.38, 3.35, respectively on five-point Likert scale, which was higher than the average score. Second, positive correlations were found among emotional intelligence, self-differentiation, parenting efficacy and parenting attitude, while rejection, a sub-variable of parenting attitude, showed a negative correlation with self-differentiation, emotional intelligence and parenting efficacy. Third, the hierarchical regression analysis conducted to examine the factors that influence self-differentiation, emotional intelligence and parenting attitude showed a significant effect of the three factors on parenting attitude, parenting efficacy’s effect being relatively larger in particular. These results indicate that in order to promote mother of preschoolers’ positive parenting attitude, education programs that take account of their emotional intelligence, self-differentiation and parenting efficacy is necessary, with special regard paid to parenting efficacy.
