다문화 가정 자녀 대상 한국어교육의 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국어교육 분야에서 이루어진 다문화 가정 자녀의 연구 동향성을 살피는 것을 목적으로 하여, RISS에서 2019년까지 발간된 다문화 가정 자녀를 대상으로 하는 한국어교육 분야의 174편의 연구 결과를 연도별, 연령대별, 연구 방법별, 연구 내용별로 분석하였다. 연도별 결과, 향후 한국어교육에서 다문화 가정 자녀의 연구는 증가할 것으로 예측된다. 연령대별 연구 동향을 살핀 결과, 대부분의 연구가 초등학생에 집중되거나 혹은 연령대와 상관없이 다문화 가정 자녀라는 포괄적인 집단의 범주 하에서 연구가 이루어졌다. 그러나 다문화 가정 자녀는 연령에 따라 언어 습득 및 발달에 대한 차이가 있으므로, 향후 연구에서는 이들의 연령을 고려한 연구가 진행되어야 한다. 연구 방법별 분석 결과, 주로 교재 분석을 통한 문헌 연구나 양적 연구에서는 대부분 조사 연구가 이루어졌다. 물론 개인이나 소집단에 초점을 두어 한국어교육 모형을 개발한 것은 긍정적이나, 일반화를 할 수 있는 연구 방법의 다양화가 필요하다. 연구 주제별 분석 결과, 내용학 범주에서는 주로 읽기 연구에 집중되었고, 교수학 범주에서는 교수 방법과 교재 개발에 치중되었다. 그러나 읽기가 아닌 다른 언어 기능(말하기, 듣기)에 대한 연구가 추가적으로 진행되어야 하며, 특히 한국 문화 및 담화에 관한 연구가 현재까지 부족하기에 향후 연구에서는 이 부분이 보완되어야 할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 한국어교육에만 초점을 두어서 다문화 가정 자녀의 연구 동향성을 살폈다는 데 한계가 있으며, 또한 향후 연구에서는 다양한 분석 기준으로 재해석 하는 연구가 나오길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of Korean language education for children of multicultural families. Through this, it intended to discuss the future direction of study for children from multicultural families. To this end, a total of 178 theses from RISS were analyzed by type. As the results of the study, the study for children of multicultural families in Korean language education has been conducted regardless of age so far. However, the growing children of multicultural families have differences in using language including language acquisition, depending on their age. Therefore, the future studies should be conducted considering their age. As a result of examining the trends in research methods, the researches have been conducted in literature or quantitative studies mainly through analyzing textbooks. Of course, it is positive in that it has developed a model of Korean language education focusing on individuals or small groups. However, it needs diverse research methods in the future research. As a result of analysis by study subject, the category of content science was mainly focused on reading research. In the pedagogy category, it was concentrated on the development of teaching methods and materials. Korean language education is an applied discipline, and most of the study is based on demand in the field. Therefore, it is natural that studies in the pedagogy category are active. However, it should be pursued further studies on the culture and conversation areas as well as studies on other language functions including reading. Finally, Korean language education for children of multicultural families is partly inteconnected with Korean language education, but there is definitely a part that needs to be done in Korean language education for them. In this regard, it is expected that the results of the study will help the study for children of multicultural families in the future.
