국문 초록

본 연구에서는 구체물(Concrete)-반구체물(Semi Concrete)-추상화(Abstract) 단계를 활용한 도식 기반(Schema-based) 문제해결전략 교수가 수학학습부진학생의 비와 비율(백분율) 문장제 해결력에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울특별시에 소재한 M 초등학교에 재학 중인 6학년 수학학습부진 학생 3명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 이들이 재학 중인 학교 교실에서 방과 후에 중재하였다. 연구 설계로는 대상자 간 중다간헐기초선 설계를 사용하였으며, 2019년 10월부터 2020년 1월까지 총괄 평가지를 사용하여 기초선·중재·유지 단계에서 연구 대상자의 점수를 수집하였다. 중재 및 유지 효과를 파악하기 위해 수집된 자료에 대한 시각적 분석을 실시하고, PND와 Tau-U 값을 산출하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구체물-반구체물-추상화 단계를 활용한 도식 기반 문제해결전략 교수를 받은 연구 대상 학생의 비와 비율(백분율) 문장제 평가 점수가 기초선과 비교해 크게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이러한 중재 효과는 중재가 종료된 후에도 유지되는 것으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

The Purpose of this study was to examine the effects of schema-based problem strategy instruction moved through three levels of instruction (a) concrete, (b) semi-concrete, (C) abstract on the ratio and rate(percentage) mathematical word-problem solving achievement of elementary students with mathematical learning difficulties. The participants were three sixth-grade students in a public elementary school in Seoul. The multiple-probe design across subject was employed to analyze the participant’s improvement on their word-problem solving performance. The results of this study are following. First, the schema-based problem-solving strategy instruction moved through C-S-A steps had a positive effect on the growth of the ratio and rate(percentage) mathematical world-problem solving achievement of all participants. The word-problem solving achievement of students was enhanced significantly upon the application of the instruction. Second, every participant’s enhancement of the word-problem solving ability was maintained although the interventions were wrapped up. On the basis of these results, educational limitations and implications of this intervention study were discussed.
