영유아 교사의 긍정적 행동지원에 대한 중요도 인식과 실행도에 대한 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 영유아의 문제행동 지도를 위해 교사들의 긍정적 행동지원 전략에 대한 중요도 인식과 실행도를 알아보기 위해 광주 및 전남지역의 영유아 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 설문조사는 1차적으로 6월 24일부터 7월10일까지 직접 배부 및 회수, 2차적으로 7월 11일부터 26일까지 온라인으로 실시하였다. 설문문항은 (1)물리적 예방(9문항), (2)교수적 예방(20문항), (3)구체적 교수전략(18문항)으로 구성되었다. 최종 219명 교사의 설문 응답지를 분석하였으며, 교사변인(교사나이, 교육경력, 담당영유아 연령, 소속기관 유형)에 따른 문제행동 예방과 행동지원전략의 중요도 인식의 차이와 실행도의 차이, 그리고 교사의 중요도 인식과 실행도 간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 설문조사 결과, 영유아 교사는 문제행동 예방 및 행동지원전략의 중요도 인식과 실행도에서 대체로 긍정적인 결과를 나타냈다. 교사변인에 따른 문제행동 예방 및 행동지원전략의 중요도 인식의 차이에서는 교사연령과 교육경력에 따른 구체적 교수전략 항목에서만 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 교사변인에 따른 문제행동 예방 및 행동지원전략의 실행도 차이에서는 기관유형과 담당 영유아 연령에 대해서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 영유아 교사의 문제행동 예방 및 행동지원전략에 대한 중요도 인식과 실행도의 상관관계는 하위영역 모두에서 유의미한 상관관계를 보였다.

영문 초록

Survey was used to examine toddler and preschooler teachers’ understanding of importance and implementation of positive behavior supports. A total of 219 teachers working in Gwangju and Jeonnam district participated in this study. The survey was consisted of three components, (1) physical prevention(9questions), (2) teaching prevention(20questions), (3) specific teaching strategies(18questions). The study examined the differences of understanding of importance and implementation of teachers’ positive behavior supports according to teahcers’ variables(teacher’s age, teaching experiences, young children’s age, types of working program), and correlations between understanding and implementation of teachers’ prevention and behavior support strategies. The findings of this study was as follows. Teachers showed positive responses for their understanding of importance and implementation of prevention and behavior support strategies. Teachers showed statistical significance of their understanding importance of prevention and behavior support strategies only according to their ages and teaching experiences. Teachers showed statistically significance of their implementation of prevention and behavior support strategies according to the types of working program and young children’s age. Finally, there was statistically significant correlations between teachers’ understanding of importance and implementation of prevention and behavior support strategies.
