국문 초록

본 연구는 지속적으로 발생하고 있는 유아의 부적응 행동 지도에 대한 고경력 교사들의 실제적 어려움과 개선 요구를 파악하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 9년차 이상의 고경력 유아교사 6명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였으며, 이들을 개별적으로 심층면담하였다. 연구결과, 실제적 어려움인 걸림돌 하나는 교사 개인적 측면, 걸림돌 둘은 학부모의 인식 및 교사-학부모 간의 관계적 측면, 걸림돌 셋은 유아교육기관의 풍토와 구조의 측면, 마지막 걸림돌 넷은 흡족치 않은 직전교육과 현직교육의 측면으로 나타났다. 오랜 기간 동안 지속적으로 다루어져왔던 본 논제가 유아교육현장에서 조속히 해소되길 바라며, 교사를 둘러싼 다각적 차원에서의 지원과 지속적인 노력이 이루어지기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the practical difficulties and problems of highly experienced early childhood teachers regarding the continuous maladjusted behavior guidance of young children, and to derive improvement plans. 6 highly experienced early childhood teachers with more than 9 years of experience who have had difficulties or were serious in teaching maladjusted behavior were selected as participants to conduct an in-depth interview. As a result of the study, the first was the personal aspect of the teacher, 1) increased burden and lack of self-confidence due to the position of ‘highly experienced teacher’, 2) lack of appropriate coping and effective skills, 3) lack of knowledge of children s maladjusted behavior guidelines. Second was the aspect of the parental awareness and the relationship between teacher and parent, 1) lack of trust in teacher expertise, 2) negativity or vague hope for maladjustment behavior of young children, 3) demand for a one-way notification method or complaint request to a higher level organization. Third was the aspect of the climate and structure of early childhood education institutions, 1) relatively large number of young children and excessive working hours, 2) lack of the support and system of expert-level human resources, 3) structural problems of the educational field that must be independently solved by teachers. The last was the aspect of the pre-service education and in-service education that were not satisfied, 1) the pre-service education that requires active reflection of the voice of the field, 2) the in-service education, which was more various or less autonomous. I hope that this topic which has been discussed for a long time will be resolved urgently, and various support and continuous efforts will be made.
