중학생이 인식한 가정과교사의 권력기반이 가정교과의 중요도와 흥미 및 자기결정성 학업동기에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 중학생이 인식하고 있는 가정과교사의 권력기반이 가정교과의 자기결정성 학업동기, 중요도, 흥미에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국의 중학교 가정과교사 20명과 그들의 학생 총 516명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석, 매개효과분석을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학생이 인식하고 있는 가정과교사의 권력기반은 전문적권력, 보상적권력, 준거적권력, 합법적권력, 강압적권력 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중학생이 인식한 가정과교사의 권력기반과 자기결정성 학업동기, 가정교과 중요도와 흥미 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 가정과교사의 권력기반과 자기결정성 학업동기 간의 관계에서 모두 정적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 셋째, 중학생이 인식한 가정과교사의 권력기반이 자기결정성 학업동기와 가정교과의 중요도와 흥미에 미치는 영향을 다중회귀분석한 결과, 교사의 권력기반 유형은 준거적권력, 합법적권력, 보상적권력, 전문적권력, 강압적권력 순으로 자기결정성 학업동기에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 준거적권력, 전문적권력 순으로 가정교과의 중요도와 흥미에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 중학생이 인식한 가정과교사의 권력기반과 자기결정성 학업동기 간의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 가정교과의 중요도와 흥미 인식이 준거적권력, 전문적권력, 보상적권력과 자기결정성 학업동기의 관계에서 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the types of power base of Home Economics(HE) teachers perceived by middle school students on self-determination academic motivation, importance, and interest in HE. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 20 middle school HE teachers and their total 516 students, and they performed descriptive statistics analysis, content analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediating effect analysis. First, the types of power base of HE teachers perceived by middle school students are used in the order of expert, reward, referent, legitimate, and coercive power. Second, as a result of analyzing the correlation between the power base, self-determination academic motivation, and the importance and interest of HE teachers perceived by middle school students, the relationship between the power base and self-determination academic motivation of HE teachers was both statically significant. Third, as a result of multiple regression analysis of the influence of middle school students perceived the types of power base of HE teachers on the self-determination academic motivation and the importance and interest of HE, the types of power base of HE teachers has a positive influence on self-determining academic motivation. And reference power and expert power was found to have a positive effect on the importance and interest of HE. Fourth, an analysis of the mediating effects between the types of power base of HE teachers and self-determination academic motivations of middle school students showed that the importance and interest of HE have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between referent power, expert power, reward power and self-determination academic motivation.
