네이버 빅데이터를 통해 본 ‘유아영어’에 대한 사회적 관심사 트렌드

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 ‘국제공용어’인 영어에 대한 사회적 관심도가 증가하는 상황에서 ‘유아영어’에 대한 사회적 트렌드를 파악하는데 있다. 연구데이터는 네이버 연관키워드를 활용하였다. 1,000개 이상의 연관키워드 중 356개의 연관키워드를 선정하고, 연결망 도구를 통해 그 구조를 시각화 한 결과, 많은 단어들이 조밀하게 ‘유아영어’를 중심으로 뭉쳐져 있는 형태를 보이고 있었다. 가시성을 높이기 위해 47개의 핵심 연관키워드만 다시 선별하여 시각화 작업을 한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 온·오프라인 수업에 대해 사람들은 많은 관심이 있으며, 특히 과외식 수업에 대한 관심도가 모두 높았다. 둘째, 전통적으로 관심이 높았던 영어교재도 관심이 여전히 높았으며, 정기적으로 받아보는 학습지 외에 대여하는 형태에도 관심이 높았다. 마지막으로, 영어발음이나 주말반, 특정지역의 학업관심 등도 알 수 있었다. 이 연구가 기여하는 바는 다음 두 가지이다. 첫째, 아직까지 본 적이 없는 개념에 대해 시각적하고, 사람들이 어떤 관심사와 연결되는지 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 여기서 사용한 방법론은 다양한 분야에서 향후 연구에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify trends in social awareness of Children English in the context of increasing social interests in English as the international common language. Related search words of NAVER portal site were used for the research data. 356 related search words among more than 1,000 words are selected, and visualized the structure using a network tool. As a result of visualization, many words were densely clustered around Children English . In order to increase visibility, only 47 key related search words were selected and visualized again. As a result, the following conclusions were drawn. First, people have a lot of interest in online and offline classes. In particular, there was a high interest in tutoring with excellent learning effects. Second, English textbooks, which have traditionally been of high interest, are still very interested, and in addition to regular workbooks, they are also interested in loaning. Finally, people were also interested in English pronunciation, weekend classes, and studies in specific areas. The contribution of this research can be seen in two ways. First, the study visually showed connections to the Children English word that we have not seen yet, and we can see what interests it is connected to. The methodology used in this study is expected to be used for future research in various fields.
