모의 자기체계능력 및 학부모교육 참여와 초등 2학년생의 학교적응 변화의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 2학년생의 학교적응 변화와 어머니의 자기체계능력, 학부모교육참여, 사회적 관계망 간의 관계를 탐색하고, 이들의 상대적 영향력을 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 「학부모교육참여패널연구」자료 중 1차년도(2017)와 2차년도(2018) 어머니와 만 8세 아동 151명의 자료를 이용하여, 빈도분석, 분산분석, 카이제곱 검정, 다항로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 1학년생 때에 비해 2학년생의 학교적응 수준은 감소, 유지, 증가하는 집단으로 나뉘었으며, 여아의 경우 감소집단이, 남아의 경우 증가집단이 상대적으로 많았다. 둘째, 어머니의 학부모교육 참여 여부와 아동의 학교적응 변화 수준 간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 어머니의 학부모교육 미 참여 시 아동의 학교적응 수준이 감소 집단에 속할 확률이 높았으며, 참여시에는 증가집단에 속할 확률이 높았다. 셋째, 아동의 학교적응 증가에 영향을 미치는 요인은 어머니의 자기체계능력과 학부모교육 참여로 나타났다. 이를 통해 어머니의 자기체계역량 강화와 학부모교육 프로그램 참여가 아동의 초기 학교적응 수준을 증진시키는 데 더욱 효과적인 방안임을 확인하였으며, 마지막으로 자녀 양육에 대한 정보 제공과 함께 어머니의 자기체계역량을 증진 시키는 학부모교육프로그램의 개발을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychological characteristics, educational interests, and environmental characteristics of mothers affecting the change of school adaptation in elementary school 2nd graders. We analyzed the data from the 1st (2017) and 2nd (2018) year Panel Study of Korean Parental Educational Involvement(PaSKoPEI), including 151 mothers with their 8-year-old children. The results of this study were as follows: First, The change of school adaptation level of elementary school 1st and 2nd graders was divided into decrease , maintain , increase groups. In the case of girls, there were many decrease groups, while in boys there were many increase groups. Second, There was a significant difference between a mother s parent education participation and children s school adaptation level. There was a lot of decrease group in the absence of parent education, and a lot of increase group in participation. Third, the factors that increase the probability of becoming an increase group compared to decrease group were mothers self-system competence and parent education participation. The results of this study show that it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of the mother s self - system competence and participate in parent education in order to increase school adaptation of elementary 2nd graders. Therefore, we suggest the development of the program to enhance the mother s self-system competence and promote opportunities for parents to participate in education to prevent a decrease in the school adaptation of the child.
