국문 초록

본 연구는 중국 고등교육기관의 구조와 현재 중국에서 실시되고 있는 중국의 고등교육기관 평가, 즉 대학평가에 대해 분석하여 중국의 고등교육 평가 시스템을 이해하고자 한다. 또한, 이를 통해 현재 한국의 대학평가에 대한 시사점을 찾고자 한다. 이를 위해 중국에서 현재 실시하고 있는 고등교육기관 평가, 즉 대학평가에 대해 목적, 평가 유형 및 기구, 평가절차 및 방법에 대하여 조사 분석하였다. 중국의 대학평가는 거시적 지도관리, 학교 운영의 질 향상, 사회수요의 반영이라는 크게 세 가지의 실시목적을 갖는다. 평가 유형은 크게 민간 주도냐 정부 주도냐에 따라 구분되며, 민간 주도로 시행되는 중국교우회 ‘중국대학순위방(中國大學排行榜)’의 대학순위평가와 무한대학 중국과학평가연구센터 대학원 순위평가가 대표적이다. 정부 주도의 경우 교육부의 고등교육평가 센터에서 주도하여 실시함을 알 수 있었다. 평가절차는 준비, 실시, 이의신청 및 평가후속조치 단계로 이루어진다. 본 연구를 통해 양국 고등교육기관 평가에 대한 이해가 증진되고 양국의 교육교류협력에 필요한 기초자료로써 사용될 것을 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand China s higher education evaluation system by analyzing the structure of higher education institutions in China and the evaluation of higher education institutions in China, that is, university evaluation. To this end, I analyzed the purpose, types and subjects of evaluation, evaluation procedures and methods of higher education institutions in China, namely university evaluation. University evaluation in China has three main objectives: managing macro instruction, improving school operations, and reflecting social demand. The main types of evaluation are largely private-led or government-led. In this case, the Ministry of Education s higher education evaluation center led the study. The evaluation process consists of preparation, implementation, objection and follow-up. The research is valuable in that it has improved the understanding of China s higher education institution evaluation, which has not been well known to each other. It is hoped that this study will enhance mutual understanding of the evaluation of higher education institutions in both countries and be used as basic data for educational exchange cooperation between the two countries.
