교육실습을 통한 예비유아교사의 ‘유아와 소통하기’에 대한 질적 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사가 4주간의 교육실습에서 경험한 유아와의 관계 속 소통하기의 양상과 정서적 경험이 어떠한지 살펴봄으로써 교육실습이라는 맥락 안에 예비유아교사가 느끼는 정서와 어려움을 이해하고, 교육실습을 앞둔 예비유아교사에게 필요한 교수 행위 및 역량을 갖추는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 교육실습을 마치고 온 대구·경북지역에 소재한 전문대학의 유아교육과 3학년 재학생 12명을 선정하였고 집단 A, B 각각 7명, 5명으로 나누어 집단 면담을 하였으며 이후 개별 심층면담을 진행하였다. 예비유아교사가 교육실습 과정에서 경험한 유아와 소통하기의 양상은 긍정적인 경험과 부정적인 경험으로 나타났다. 유아와 소통하기를 통한 예비유아교사의 정서적 경험은 설렘과 두려움, 기대와 갈등, 성취감과 아쉬움으로 드러났으며 이와 같은 긍정 및 부정적인 양상과 정서적 경험이 유아교사로 성장하고, 유아의 마음을 이해하며 유아의 성장을 위한 발판이 되는 의미 있는 경험으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

By looking at how prospective infant teachers communicate with infants and how they have emotional experiences in their four-week education practice, this study aims to help them understand the emotions and difficulties felt by prospective infant teachers in the context of education practice, and to have the necessary teaching actions and abilities of prospective infant teachers ahead of their education practice. For this study, 12 third graders of the department of infant education in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province were selected, and groups A, B, seven, and five students were interviewed in groups, and individual in-depth interviews were conducted afterwards. The pattern of communicating with infants that the prospective infant teacher experienced in the course of her education practice turned out to be positive and negative experiences. The emotional experience of a prospective infant teacher through communication with infants was revealed in excitement and fear, expectation and conflict, achievement and regret, and this positive and negative aspects and emotional experiences were shown as meaningful experiences for infantile teacher growth, understanding infant s mind, and being a stepping stone for infant s growth.
