국문 초록

제2언어 교실에서 매체는 유용한 학습 도구로 활용된다. 매체가 주는 교육적 효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 매체를 활용할 교사가 매체 언어가 지니는 복합양식을 해독 하고 이를 적극 활용하는 것이 중요하다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 외국어로서의 한국어교육을 담당할 예비 한국어 교원인 한국어교육 전공생을 대상으로 이들이 매체에 대해 이해하고 이를 한국어 교육 현장에 활용할 수 있도록 기술적인 역량을 길러 주는 것을 목표로 하였다. 프로젝트 학습법은 학습자가 스스로 문제를 해결하고, 조원과의 협업을 통해 과업을 완성해 나가는 교수 방법이다. 이 연구에서는 이 프로젝트 학습을 토대로 한국어 매체론 교과 운영을 위해 매체와 언어 교육에 대해 알아보 고, 수업 설계의 방향과 운영 체제에 대해 살펴보았다. 그리고 본 수업을 어떻게 운영할 것인지 프로젝트 예비 단계, 진행 단계, 마무리 단계로 구분하여 내용을 검토하 였다. 프로젝트 예비 단계에서는 매체의 개념과 유형, 매체의 분류 기준과 특성에 대해 파악하고, 콘텐츠 촬영, 편집 기술 습득과 모의 실습의 내용을 포함하였다. 프로 젝트 진행 단계에서는 한국어교육 관련 매체를 분석하고 매체 언어와 매체 속 한국 어의 특성에 대해 알아보고, 교육용 콘텐츠 제작에 대한 실례를 보였다. 프로젝트 마무리 단계는 프로젝트 발표회와 평가로 이루어지는데, 여기서는 발표회 진행 방법을 구체적으로 소개하고 자가 평가, 동료 평가, 교수 평가 항목을 구분하여 설정해 보았 다. 본 연구는 교육용 콘텐츠의 만족도와 효과성에 대한 검토는 이루어지진 못하였 으나, 다매체 시대를 맞이한 현 시점에서 미래 한국어 교수자가 다양한 매체를 이해 함으로써 매체 언어 문식력을 함양하고, 이를 활용하여 교육 자료를 제작할 수 있는 방안을 단계별로 보여 주었다는 데 의의가 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

A medium is a useful learning tool in second language classes. It is important for teachers to decipher the complex formats of media language and make active use of them in order to maximize the educational effects of media. The purpose of this study was to help students specializing in Korean education, who are pre-service Korean teachers for Korean education as a foreign language, develop their technical capabilities to understand media and use it in the field of Korean education. Project-based learning is an instructional method to help learners solve a problem for themselves and complete a task through collaboration with their team members. The present study examined media and language education to run a subject on media theories for Korean and also design directions and management systems for lessons according to project-based learning. It then reviewed the content about the ways of running a class in the stages of project preparation, progress and wrapup. The project preparation stage covered concepts, types, classification criteria and characteristics of media along with the skills to film and edit content and the content of mock practice. The project progress stage analyzed media related to Korean education, looked into the characteristics of Korean in media in addition to media language, and gave a couple of actual examples in the production of educational content. The project wrapup stage consisted of a project presentation and evaluation, offering a detailed introduction of a presentation process and distinguishing items for self-evaluation, peer evaluation, and teacher evaluation. Even though the present study did not review educational content in terms of satisfaction and effectiveness, it did propose plans by stage for future Korean instructors to understand a variety of media, cultivate their the literacy of media language, and create educational materials based on it in the current era of multiple media, thus holding its significance.
