국문 초록

본 연구는 초등 과학영재 4학년 학생을 대상으로 소리관련 탐구활동을 통하여 과학탐구능력을 신장시킬 수 있도록 탐구방법적 측면에 초점을 둔 영재프로그램을 개발・적용하였다. ‘소리 탐구’ 는 3학년 2학기 ‘소리의 성질’ 단원에서 학습한 경험을 떠올려 친숙한 주제이며, 심화활동을 전개하여 탐구방법을 다양하게 적용할 수 있다. 프로그램은 SAPA의 탐구과정요소 중 기초과정의 관찰, 분류, 측정, 의사소통, 추론 하기 탐구기능와 통합과정에서 변인통제, 자료해석, 가설의 설정, 실험 탐구기능을 포함하여 총 16차시로 개발되었으며, 2017년 5월~7월간 수업을 통해 적용하였다. 또한 영재학생들의 개인적 진로 및 사회적 기여의식을 높이고자 주제와 관련한 진로탐 색의 기회를 제공하고 최근 사회적 문제를 과학적으로 해결하도록 하였다. 프로그램 적용 결과, 영재학생들은 변인을 다양하게 생각하게 되었으며, 탐구수행의 목표와 접근방법이 보다 정교해졌다. 또한 탐구활동 자체에 흥미를 보이며, 문제해결 과정 에서 개방적 사고가 나타났다. 진로 및 정의적 영역에서는 주제 관련 다양한 직업의 종류와 가치를 인식하였으며, 영재교육을 통한 개인적 성장과 함께 사회적 책임을 느끼고 사회발전에 기여하고자 다짐하는 학생을 볼 수 있었다. 사회적 책임감의 수행은 꾸준한 노력, 동기전략, 교육만족도와 .800이상의 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 저학년 영재교육 프로그램을 개발 및 지도할 때, 과학탐구능력과 진로 및 사회적 책임감을 신장시키는 방법적 접근에 대한 잠정적인 시사점을 얻을수 있었다.

영문 초록

This research has developed and applied a gifted program focused on the aspects of exploration methods to enhance scientific exploration ability through sound-related exploration activities for students in the fourth grade of elementary science gifted. Sound Exploration is a familiar topic with the experiences learned in the Soneness of Sound section of the second semester of the third grade, and can be applied in a variety of ways to explore by developing further activities. Among the elements of SAPA s exploratory process, the program was developed as a total of 16th poems, including the functions of observation, classification, measurement, communication, reasoning, exploration and integration of basic processes, and the functions of variable control, data analysis, hypothesis setting, and experimental exploration, and applied through classes. In addition, the Act provided an opportunity to explore the current social problems scientifically to enhance the sense of personal career and social contribution of gifted students. As a result of the application of the program, gifted students have come to think of variables in a variety of ways, and the goals and approaches of conducting research have become more sophisticated. It is also interested in the exploratory activity itself, and open thinking appeared in the process of solving the problem. In the career and justice areas, we could see students who are aware of various types and values of subject-related professions, feel social responsibility and are determined to contribute to social development along with personal growth through gifted education. The performance of social responsibility has shown a high correlation of steady efforts, motivational strategies, education satisfaction. Through these results, when developing and guiding low-grade gifted education programs, tentative implications were obtained for a methodical approach to enhancing scientific exploration ability, career and social responsibility.
