체육수업에서 PBL방식 적용에 대한 예비체육교사들의 인식과 경험에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비체육교사들의 PBL수업에 대한 사전인식과 경험여부에 대해 알아 보고 PBL수업 적용 후 그들이 PBL수업방식에 대해 무엇을 느끼고 경험하였는지를 밝혀 예비체육교사들에게 PBL수업방식에 대한 이해와 체육수업 적용에 있어서의 자신감 및 가능성을 확인해보고자 하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 연구자의 ‘체 육교과교육론’ 수업을 수강하고 있는 48명의 예비체육교사를 대상으로 연구를 진행 하였으며, 객관식유형의 설문지와 서답형의 구조화된 질문지를 통해 자료를 수집한후 각각 빈도분석과 귀납적 범주분석 방법을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 우선 PBL수업방식에 대한 예비체육교사들의 사전인식과 경험여부에 대해, 첫째, PBL수 업방식에 대해 이미 많은 예비체육교사들이 인식은 하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 그에 비해 경험은 전무 한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, PBL수업에 대해 인식하고 있는 대부분의 예비체육교사들은 TV나 인터넷 등의 미디어를 통해 인식하게 되었음을 확인하였다. 셋째, PBL수업에 대한 인식과 경험이 모두 있는 학생은 단 1명으로 체육 관련 학부에서의 수업 과정에서 소개받고 경험하게 되었음을 확인하였다. 다음으로 예비체육교사들에게 학기 중, 후반에 걸쳐 PBL수업방식에 대해 설명하고 실제 적용한 후 그에 대한 경험내용을 분석한 결과로는 첫째, 배움의 즐거움 요인으로 공부하는 과정이 너무나도 흥미롭고 즐거운 경험이었음을, 둘째, 반성적 사고의 기회요인 으로는 실기위주의 교육을 받아온 예비체육교사들에게 사고(思考)에 대한 경험과 공유, 전달 방법을 터득할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였음을 나타내고 있다. 셋째, 체육수 업에 대한 전문적 지식의 확장 요인은 체육관련 지식에 대한 깊이 있는 확장을 경험하였다고 말하고 있으며, 넷째, 체육교사로서 자기성찰의 기회 요인은 체육수업의 실질적 운영에 대한 깊은 고민과 체육교사로서의 역할에 대한 성찰의 기회를 경험하 였다고 말하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the preservice PE teachers understanding of PBL lessons and their confidence in applying physical education classes with its possibilities by examining the previous  understanding and experience or not of preservice PE teachers and revealing what they felt and experienced about PBL lessons after the application of PBL classes. To this end, I conducted a research on 48 preservice PE teachers who was taking the Physical Education Theory class of researcher, and analyzed data through frequency analysis and inductive category analysis methods after collecting data through questionnaires of multiple choice type and structured questionnaires of completion type. Consequently, the results of the previous perception and experience or not of preservice PE teachers are as follows. First, many preservice PE teachers already understood the PBL teaching method, but had no experiences. Second, most preservice PE teachers who understood PBL classes have the understanding through media such as TV and Internet. Third, there was only one student who had both understanding and experience in PBL class, which was introduced and experienced in the course of undergraduate related to physical education. Next, I found the results of analyzing the content of experience with PBL teaching method after explaining and actually applying it to the preservice PE teachers at the end of the semester, and categorized them as follows. First, the process of studying as a pleasure factor of learning was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. Second, as an opportunity for reflective thinking, experience, sharing, and communication of thought to preliminary physical education teachers, And to provide them with an opportunity to learn how to do so. Third, the extension factor of the professional knowledge about physical education class has experienced the deep expansion of the knowledge related to physical education. Fourth, as the physical education teacher, the opportunity factor of self - reflection is deep concern about the practical operation of physical education class, I have experienced an opportunity to reflect on my role.
