중학생의 자기주도학습시간과 학습전략간의 관계: 학습동기의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학습자의 학습에 대한 효율성 향상을 위하여 자기주도학습시간과 학습동기 및 학습전략과의 관계를 파악하고, 이을 토대로 자기주도학습시간을 활성화시키기 위함이다. 한국교육개발원에서 제공하는 2003~2014년 종단 자료로 중학생 대상 6,685명을 자기주도학습시간과 학습전략간의 학습동기 매개효과 관계를 잠재성장모형을 이용하여 연구하였다. 그 결과, 자기주도학습시간은 시간의 흐름에 따라 꾸준히 증가하고 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한 자기주도학습시간이 늘어날수록 학습전략, 학습동기의 상승과 유의한 정적 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기주도학습시간과 학습전략 간에 학습동기의 매개효과는 유의한 간접효과를 제공 하고 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 학습동기가 학습전략에 부적영향이 있음을 확인하였는데, 이는 외재적 동기와 내재적 동기를 통합한 분석이 발달에 따른 외재적 동기가 영향을 주었음을 예측하였다. 또한 본 연구는 중학생들의 자기주도학습 시간 향상과 그 성과에 대하여 확인해 볼 수 있는 계기가 되는 의의를 가진다. 추후 자기주도학습시간 활용에 대한 연구가 필요함에도 불구하고 현재로서는 변인들 간의 연구가 미미한 실정이여서, 이 변인들 간의 연구를 제언한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between self - directed learning time, learning motivation and learning strategies in order to improve the efficiency of learners learning, and to activate self - directed learning time based on this. The data of end - of - year 2003 ~ 2014 provided by the Korea Educational Development Institute were used to investigate the relationship between learning motivation and mediation effect between self - directed learning time and learning strategies for 6,685 middle school students. As a result, it was confirmed that self -directed learning time increased steadily with time. In addition, as self-directed learning time increases, learning strategy and learning motivation have a significant positive impact, and the mediating effect of learning motivation between self-directed learning time and learning strategy has a significant indirect effect . Especially, it was confirmed that learning motivation had a negative effect on learning strategy, and it was predicted that external motivation according to development influenced analysis combining external motivation and intrinsic motivation. In addition, this study has significance that can confirm the improvement of self - directed learning time and its achievement in middle school students. Although research on the use of self - directed learning time is needed in the future, the research among the variables is insignificant at present.
