방사선학과 대학생들의 학습스타일과 학업성취도의 상관성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 방사선학을 전공하는 대학생들을 대상으로 학습스타일과 학업 성취도 간의 상관성을 분석해 봄으로써 효과적인 방사선학 교육을 위한 교수법 개발에 필요한 기초자료로 활용하는 것이다. 본 연구는 2018년 11월 19일부터 27일까지 실시한 조사 및 분석에 자율적으로 참여한 G시 K대학교 방사선학과 학생 154명 중 125명을 대상으로 학습스타일 질문지에 의한 Felder와 Silverman의 학습스타일과 석차와 평균평점으로 측정되는 학업성취도와의 상관성을 파악하기 위해서 SPSS WIN 18.0을 이용한 양적 연구이다. 분석 결과, 절대적 평가에 의한 학업성취도인 평균평점은 학습스타일의 감각형 및 직관형으로 구성된 정보인식범주와 상관관계가 있었다.(감각형: 상관계수=.234**, p=.009 ; 직관형: 상관계수=-.234**, p=.009). 평균 평점이 높을수록 감각형 점수는 높고 직관형 점수는 낮았다. 상대적 평가인 석차는 학습스타일과 상관성이 없었다. 학습유형들 간의 상관관계 분석을 통해 감각형 점수가 높을수록 순차형의 점수가 높았다. 따라서 효과적인 방사선학 교육을 위한 교수방법은 정보인식은 학습자들에 의해 감각적으로 실행될 수 있도록, 정보이해방식은 학습자들에 의해 순차적으로 실행될 수 있도록 설계 되어야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between learning style and academic achievement in students majoring in radiology and use it as a basis for developing teaching methods for effective education of radiology. This study is a quantitative study using SPSS WIN 18.0 to understand the correlation between Felder and Silverman s learning style based on learning style questionnaires, and their academic achievement measured by their rank and G.P.A., of 125 of 154 students in the department of radiology at G city K university who voluntarily participated in the survey and analysis conducted from Nov. 19 to 27 in 2018. As a result of the analysis, the G.P.A. of academic achievement based on absolute evaluation was correlated with the category of information perception consisting of a sensory and an intuitive type of learning style.(sensory type: correlation coefficient=.234**, p=.009 ; intuitive type: correlation coefficient=-.234**, p=.009). There was the higher the G.P.A., the higher the sensory type score and the lower the intuitive type score. The rank of relative evaluation was irrelevant to the learning style. Through correlation analysis between learning types, the higher the sensory type score, the higher the sequential type score. Therefore, teaching methods for effective radiology education should be designed so that information perception can be performed sensately by learners and information understanding methods can be performed sequentially by learners.
