예비유아교사의 사회인구학적 요인, 공감, 교직윤리의식이 인성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비 유아교사의 사회인구학적 요인, 공감, 교직윤리 의식이 인성과 어떠한 관계를 갖는 지 살펴보고 각 변인들의 교사 인성에 대한 설명력을 분석하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 P시, K시, C시에 소재한 4개의 4년제 대학, 유아교육학과, 보육관련학과에 재학 중인 240명을 대상으로 사회인구학적 요인, 공감능력, 교직 윤리 의식, 교사 인성 설문지에 응답하도록 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비 유아교사의 인성은 양호하였으며 학년과 재학 중인 학과에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 예비 유아교사의 인성과 하위 요인인 보편적 인성 및 교직 인성은 공감 능력 전체 및 하위요인과 정적 상관관계를 가지고 있었다. 셋째, 예비 유아 교사의 인성과 하위 요인인 보편적 인성 및 교직 인성은 교직윤리 의식 전체 및 하위요인과 정적 상관관계를 가지고 있었다. 넷째, 예비 유아교사의 인성에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인은 공감 능력 중 공감의 인지적 요소였다. 그리고 교직윤리 의식의 유아관련 윤리 및 사회관련 윤리가 교사의 인성에 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 사회 인구학적 요인의 학년이 교사의 인성에 유의미한 설명력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과에 기초하여 예비 유아교사의 인성 교육에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was investigated how demographic variables, empathy and the professional ethics perception influenced personality among pre-service early childhood teachers. Participants were 240 pre-service early childhood teachers who were recruited from P metropolitan city, C city and K city. The participants completed the scale of demographic variables, empathy, ethical perception and personality. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the personality among pre-service early childhood teachers were good and there were not significant differences in personality according to age. But there were significant differences in personality according to school year and the type of school. Second, the personality among pre-service early childhood teachers were positively related with empathy. Third, the personality among pre-service early childhood teachers were positively associated with the professional ethics perception. Fourth, the most important predictor of personality was cognitive empathy. And the personality among pre-service early childhood teachers was influenced by ethics early childhood- related ethics and society, and school year. The implications of these finding were discussed in personality education among pre-service early childhood teachers.
