국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 발표된 2015 개정교육과정의 영향으로 혼란이 가중되고 있는 초·중등학교 창의·인성교육의 성공적 추진에 필요한 과제를 모색하기 위한 목적으로 실시된 것이다. 이를 위해 데세코 보고서를 중심으로 핵심역량과 핵심역량 교육의 의미를 확인하고, 한국의 핵심역량으로 실천되고 있는 창의·인성교육의 추진 양상과 그에 따른 문제점을 분석하였으며, 핵심역량을 중심에 둔 창의와 인성교육이 2015 개정교육과정과 동반되어 추진되기 위해 사전에 준비되어야 할 과제를 제안하는데 초점을 두었다. 즉 핵심역량, 교과역량, 창의·인성교육, 핵심개념 간 관계성에 대한 명확한 정리가 무엇보다 필요하며, 글로컬의 개념에 근거한 지역사회와의 협력적 지원이 요구됨을 제안하였다. 이러한 과정에서 본 연구가 견지하고 있는 주된 문제의 식은 창의·인성을 중심으로 추진되는 국내의 핵심역량과 그에 따른 교육이 개념과 추진 방향에 있어 세계적 동향과 괴리를 보이고 있다는 것이다.

영문 초록

Creativity·Character education, which had been pushed by Korean government, is now in the very state of confusion. The main reason is due to 2015 revised Korean national curriculum. So this paper tried to suggest some prior conditions for creativity·character education as core competencies in Glocal Era. For this, meanings of core competencies and core competencies based education(CBE) are analyzed, mainly from the perspectives of DeSeCo project published by OECD, and as it is of creativity·character education that considered as a substitute of CBE in case of Korean educational system is scrutinized, including the theoretical weakness. It seems there are something to be suggested as guidelines for policy directions when creativity·character education is combined with CBE. Firstly, the relationship should be clearly revealed. Secondly, the very school realities should be main considerations when tries to make up supporting policies. Last, when Glocal is considered to be the main strategy for reaching globalization, collaborations with local community should be taken as one of critical factors. Most of all, this paper tried to show the conception of Korean CBE has discrepancies with that of world trends.
