예비유아교사의 유아과학 교수내용의 실천적 지식과 과학교수 효능감 및 과학적 태도 간의 관계 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사들의 과학교수 내용의 실천적 지식 증진하기 위한 효과적인 방안을 마련하기 위하여, 누리과정의 ‘과학적 기초능력 기르기’를 바탕으로 과학 교수내용의 실천적 지식과 과학교수 효능감 및 과학적 태도 간에 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상으로 서울 경기지역에 소재하고 있는 3개 대학 유아교육과 2학 년에 재학중인 유아과학 교과목을 이수한 205명을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 과학교수 내용의 실천적 지식과 과학교수 효능감 및 과학적 태도 간의 정적인 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 과학교수 내용의 실천적 지식 상.중.하집단의 정도에 따라 과학교수 효능감 및 과학적 태도에 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 과학교수 내용의 실천적 지식이 과학교수 효능감 및 과학적 태도에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 예비교사의 전문적인 자질과 과학교수내용의 실천적 지식을 함양시키고자 하는 기초연구로 활용되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

In an effort to prepare effective measures to improve practical knowledge of science teaching contents of pre-service infant teachers, this study sought to analyze relations between practical knowledge of science teaching contents of pre-service infant teachers, efficacy of science teaching and scientific attitude, based on Development of science-related basic ability of Nuri Curriculum. The study carried out questionnaire surveys among 205 sophomores majoring in infant education in three colleges at Seoul and Gyeonggi area, who had completed the subject of science for infants. As a result, the study got following findings. First, there was a positive relationship between practical knowledge of science teaching contents of pre-service infant teachers, efficacy of science teaching and scientific attitude. Second, efficacy of science teaching and scientific attitude varied depending on the high/mid/low levels of practical knowledge of science teaching contents of pre-service infant teachers. Third, practical knowledge of science teaching contents of pre-service infant teachers had a partial effect on efficacy of science teaching and scientific attitude. These findings, the study expects, may be used as a base in other researcher s effort to boost professional quality of pre-service teachers and practical knowledge of science teaching contents.
