중등교육실습의 확대 운영 사례 분석 및 시사점

국문 초록

예비 중등교사의 교육실습은 일반적으로 4학년 1학기에 4주간 이루어지고 있는데, 이러한 중등교육실습이 기간과 내용 측면에서 미흡하다는 문제점이 지속적으로 제기되어 왔다. 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로, 이 연구에서는 사범대학 차원에서 중등교육실습을 확대 운영하는 사례를 분석함으로써 중등교육실습 개선에 대한 구체적인 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 3개 사범대학에서 운영하고 있는 교육실습 기간의 확장과 내용의 심화 사례를 정리, 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 한국교원대는 참관실습과 수업실습(4주), 수업실습과 실무실습(4주)으로 이루어지는 ‘실습단계 확대형’, 충북대는 참관실습(2주)과 수업실습(3주)으로 이루어지는 ‘참관실습 확대형’, 충남대는 교육실습 사전사후교육(15시간)과 교육실습(4주)으로 이루어지는 ‘실습교육 확대형’으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 교육실습 확대를 위한 기본 방향과 구체적인 전략을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

It has been raised that a four week teaching practicum in secondary schools (TPSS), practiced at the first semester of university fourth grade, is not sufficient from the viewpoints of the period and the contents of TPSS. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to provide concrete implications improving TPSS by analyzing its expansion cases in normal university level. To do so, the three cases of College of Education that expanded the period of TPSS and deepened its contents, were investigated. As a result, the three TPSS models were discovered as follows: The first one was Korea National University of Education model, consisted of a four week field observation practicum - student teaching practicum, and another four week student teaching practicum - practical training. It could be called the teaching practicum stage expansion model. The second one was Chungbuk National University model, consisted of a two week field observation practicum and a three week student teaching practicum. It could be called the field observation expansion model. The third one was Chungnam National University model, consisted of pre- and after-education of teaching practicum and a four week student teaching practicum. It could be called the pre- and after-education expansion model. Based upon those results, both basic directions and concrete strategies for TPSS were provided.
