메타인지능력이 대학생활적응과 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 지각한 메타인지 능력과 대학생활 적응 및 주관적 행복감 간의 관계에서 학교기본심리욕구의 매개효과를 조사하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 대학생 총 836명이 참여하였고, 이들이 제공한 자료를 중심으로 기술통계, 상관 분석, 신뢰도 및 구조방정식 모형을 활용한 모형적합도 검증과 매개효과를 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 본 연구에서 사용한 주요 척도의 전체 신뢰도 Cronbach α의 범위는 .881 ̴ .940이었으며, 측정변인들 간에 서로 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 설정한 연구 모형의 검증 결과 모형 적합도 지수 χ2 = 1163.08(df = 334, p < .001), TLI = .900, CFI = .911, RMSEA = .072, SRMR = .059로 나타나 수용 기준을 충족시키는 것으로 판명되었으며, 메타인지능력이 대학생활적응과 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 학교기본심리욕구가 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학에서 미래인재 양성을 위해 메타인지능력의 함양을 촉진하고, 건강한 학업, 정서, 대인간의 적응을 돕고 주관적 행복감을 경험하게 하는데 필요한 자기결정성 동기의 증진을 위한 대학의 지원과 특성화 프로그램의 구축을 위한 기초 정보를 제공한다는 측면에서 시사점이 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the structural equation model fit among the perceived metacognitive ability, basic psychological need in school, student adaptation to college, and subjective well-being of university students. In this study, a total 836 students of freshmen and sophomore of D University in D city participated. The results were as follows: First, it appeared that there were statistically significant positive correlations among the perceived metacognitive ability, basic psychological need in school, student adaptation to college, and subjective well-being. Second, the model fit index of TLI, CFI, RMSEA, SRMR, and χ2 value were satisfied with the model fit criteria. It also showed that the basic psychological need in school(autonomy, competence, relatedness) had a mediation effect on path between metacognitive ability and student adaptation to college, and between metacognitive ability and subjective well-being. Therefore, the basic psychological need in school functioned as a mediating variable between metacognitive ability and student adaptation to college and subjective well-being. The implications of this study were suggested.
