대학 글쓰기 교육을 통한 학습자의 글쓰기 인식 변화

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학 글쓰기 교육이 학습자들의 글쓰기 인식에 미친 영향을 파악하는 데 목적을 둔다. 방법 이를 위하여 2023년 1학기와 2학기 경상남도에 위치한 A대학에서 글쓰기 교과를 수강한 학습자를 대상(사전 조사 113명, 사후 조사 118명)으로 글쓰기의 자기 약점, 기호, 필요성 등을 묻는 설문조사를 4차례 실시하였다. 결과 그 결과 학습자들은 글쓰기에 대한 막연한 두려움과 어려움을 가지고 있었으나 글쓰기 수업을 통해 그 어려움이 일정 정도 완화된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 글쓰기 수업이 학습자들의 글쓰기 실력에 대한 자기 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 글쓰기 수업에서 배운 내용이 글쓰기 수업 이외의 상황에서 유용하게 활용된 경우 학습자들이 만족감을 느낀다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결론 보다 효과적인 글쓰기 수업을 위해 학습자들이 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 글감을 제시하고, 글쓰기의 기본에 충실한 교육을 시행할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of university writing education on learners’ writing perception. Methods For this purpose, four surveys were conducted on learners who took a writing course at University A located in Gyeongsangnam-do in the first and second semesters of 2023 (113 people in the pre-survey, 118 people in the post-survey) asking about their weaknesses, preferences, and needs in writing. It was carried out.. Results As a result, the learners had vague fears and difficulties with writing, but it was confirmed that the difficulties were alleviated to some extent through writing classes. In addition, it was found that writing class had a positive effect on learners' self-perception of their writing skills, and that learners felt satisfied when what they learned in writing class was usefully used in situations other than writing class. Conclusions For more effective writing classes, it is necessary to present writing styles that learners can easily access and to provide education that is faithful to the basics of writing.
