성인애착과 대학생의 취업준비행동 : 자기위로능력, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족, 취업불안의 순차매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 취업불안에 영향을 줄 것으로 예측되는 주요 관계 환경적 요인과 개인 내적 요인을 설정하고, 관계 환경적 요인(불안전 성인애착)이 취업불안을 거쳐 취업준비행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 개인 내적 요인들(자기위로능력, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족)의 순차매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 온라인으로 설문을 실시하였으며 전국 14개 지역, 4년제 대학교 3학년 이상의 대학생 301명으로부터 자료를 수집하였다. 연구참여자는 남학생 137명(45.5%), 여학생 164명(54.5%)이었으며, 참여자 중 취업준비 중인 학생은 251명(83%)이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21과 R program Package ‘boot’를 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과 분석 결과, 취업불안이 높을수록 취업준비행동이 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 추가 분석을 통해 취업불안 수준의 임계점을 기준으로 취업준비행동이 상이하게 나타날 수 있음을 확인하였다. 다음으로, 불안전 성인애착이 취업불안만을 거쳐 취업준비행동으로 가는 매개효과는 유의하지 않았으나, ‘자기위로능력-취업불안’의 두 매개변인을 순차적으로 거치는 간접효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 한편, ‘불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족-취업불안’의 경우 매개모형 분석조건이 충족되지 않았다. 그러나 불안전 성인애착이 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향에 있어 ‘자기위로능력-불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족-취업불안’을 거치는 삼중매개효과는 유의하게 나타나, 두 가지 개인 내적 요인 중 자기위로능력이 선행하는 요인으로 작용하는 것을 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구는 취업불안 및 취업준비행동에 주요한 영향을 미칠 수 있는 관계 환경적 요인과 개인 내적 요인을 통합적으로 고려한 모형을 검증함으로써, 상담 및 교육에서 제공할 수 있거나 개입 가능한 구체적 영역들을 확인하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 시사점, 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, researchers established a major relational environmental factor and personal internal factors predicted to affect job-seeking anxiety. The purpose of this study is to examine the sequential mediating effects of personal internal factors (self-soothing ability, intolerance of uncertainty) in the process that a relational environmental factor (insecure adult attachment) affects employment-preparation behavior through job-seeking anxiety. Methods For this study, a survey was conducted online. The data were collected from 301 college students who are juniors or seniors at a four-year college in 14 regions across the country. The participants in this survey were 137 male students (45.5%) and 164 female students (54.5%). Among these participants, college students preparing for employment were 251 (83%). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and R program Package ‘boot’. Results As a result of the study, it was found that the higher the job-seeking anxiety, the higher the employment-preparation behavior. Through the additional analysis, it was confirmed that the employment-preparation behavior may appear differently based on the critical point of the job-seeking anxiety level. Next, the mediating effect of insecure adult attachment going to employment-preparation behavior through only job-seeking anxiety was not significant, but the mediating effect of sequentially going through two mediator variables, ‘self-soothing ability & job-seeking anxiety’, was significant. In the case of ‘intolerance of uncertainty & job-seeking anxiety’, the analysis conditions for the mediated model were not satisfied. However, in the influence of insecure adult attachment on employment-preparation behavior, it was found that the triple-mediated effect of ‘self-soothing ability, intolerance of uncertainty, and job-seeking anxiety’ was significant. It was confirmed that between two individual internal factors, self-soothing ability acted as a leading factor. Conclusions This study verified the model integrally considering a relational environmental factor and individual internal factors that can have a major impact on job-seeking anxiety and employment-preparation behavior. According to this study, researchers identified the specific areas that can be provided or intervened in counseling and education. Based on the result of this study, it presented the significance, implications of the study, and suggestion about the follow-up research.
