노인의 경제활동과 사회활동이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 노인의 경제활동과 사회활동이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고, 건강상태가 노인의 경제활동과 사회활동이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 매개 영향을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 연구대상은 노인실태조사 5차(2020년)에서 65세 이상 노인 9,840명이며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램으로 통계분석을 하였다. 통계분석은 신뢰도 분석, 빈도분석, 기술통계 분석 및 매개 효과를 분석하였다. 매개 효과는 Baron & Kenny의 방법을 이용하였다. 결과 노인의 경제활동과 사회활동(타인지향, 자기지향)은 삶의 만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 노인의 경제활동과 사회활동(타인지향, 자기지향)은 건강상태에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 노인의 건강상태는 삶의 만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 노인의 건강상태는 경제활동과 사회활동(타인지향, 자기지향)이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 노인의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위하여 노인의 경제활동과 사회활동(타인지향, 자기지향) 증진을 위한 실천방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of social and economic activities on life satisfaction of the elderly, and to provide measures to improve life satisfaction of the elderly by grasping the mediating effect of health status on life satisfaction in this relationship. Methods The subjects of the study were 9,840 elderly people aged 65 in the 5th (2020) of the survey on the elderly, and the collected data were statistically analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program. First, statistical analysis was analyzed by the reliability analysis, frequency analysis, technical statistical analysis, and mediating effect by Baron & Kenny. Results It was found that social activities of the elderly had a positive effect on life satisfaction in the order of other-oriented activities and self-oriented activities. In the effect of the elderly's economic activities on health status, work satisfaction in economic activities had a positive effect, and work satisfaction in economic activities had a positive effect on life satisfaction. It can be seen that health status shows a significant mediating effect in the relationship between social activity and economic activity and life satisfaction. Conclusions According to the results of this study, environmental creation and action plans were presented to revitalize social activities and increase health status of the elderly.
