국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 성별에 따른 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 자기인식과 관계적 요인을 중심으로 탐색하기 위해 수행되었다. 방법 본 연구는 한국청소년정책연구원의 다문화청소년 패널조사 자료 중 2018년도에 조사된 8차년도 자료의 어머니의 출신국가가 외국이고 아버지는 한국인인 청소년 1,105명의 자료를 이용하였다. 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 28.0 version을 이용하여 계층적 회귀분석을 통해 분석되었다. 계층적 회귀모형의 1단계에서는 자기인식 요인만을, 2단계에서는 자기인식 요인과 함께 관계적 요인과 일반적 특성의 변수를 포함하였다. 결과 1단계 분석에서, 자아존중감은 남자청소년(β=.32, p<.001)과 여자청소년(β=.43, p<.001) 모두의 삶의 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 2단계 분석에서, 부모지지는 남자청소년(β=.12, p=.003)과 여자청소년(β=.11, p=.005) 모두에서 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 관계적 요인이었다. 또한 2단계 분석에서, 국가정체성(β=.09, p=.011)과 대도시 거주자(β=-.09, p=.006)는 남자청소년에서만, 인지된 가정형편(β=-.08, p=.011)과 친한 친구 수(β=.07, p=.038)는 여자청소년에서만 유의하게 영향을 미쳐 청소년의 성별에 따라 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 변수의 차이가 있었다. 결론 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도의 증진을 위하여 청소년의 자아존중감과 부모지지를 향상시키기 위한 전략이 필요하다. 또한 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도의 증진을 위한 접근 시 성별에 따른 차이를 고려할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to explore the factors that affected life satisfaction in multicultural adolescents according to gender in terms of self-perception and relational aspects. Methods The data used in this study were from the eighth wave of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute. Multiple logistic regression analysis was performed using SPSS version 28.0. In step 1, self-perception factors were analyzed. In step 2, self-perception, relational factors, and general characteristics were analyzed. Results In step 1, self-esteem had the greatest influence on life satisfaction in both boys (β=.32, p<.001) and girls (β=.43, p<.001). In step 2, parental support had the largest effect of the relational factors on life satisfaction in both boys (β=.12, p=.003) and girls (β=.11, p=.005). The factors that most affected life satisfaction according to gender were national identity (β=.09, p=.011) and residence in large cities (β=-.09, p=.006), which disproportionately affected boys, and a poor perceived household economic status (β=-.08, p=.011) and the number of close friends (β=.07, p=.038), which disproportionately affected girls. Conclusions Efforts to improve the life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents should include strategies to enhance self-perception and parental support and consider gender differences.
