국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 코로나19 상황에서 온라인수업을 경험한 중국인 유학생의 의사소통능력과 자기주도 학습능력, 온라인수업 만족도 간의 구조적 관계를 확인하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 D시에 위치한 C대학에 재학 중인 중국인 유학생 308명(남학생: 143명, 여학생: 165명)을 대상으로 2021년 6월에 설문을 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료들의변인 간 구조적 관계와 매개효과를 파악하기 위해 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 주요 결과를 요약하면다음과 같다. 첫째, 중국인 유학생의 의사소통능력이 온라인수업 만족도와 자기주도 학습능력에 정적인 영향을 미쳤고 둘째, 중국인 유학생의 자기주도 학습능력은 온라인수업 만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중국인 유학생의 의사소통능력과 온라인수업 만족도의 관계에서 자기주도 학습능력의 부분 매개효과가 확인되었다. 결론적으로 중국인 유학생의 의사소통능력이 온라인수업 만족도에 미치는 긍정적인 효과는 자기주도 학습능력을 매개로 더욱 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 코로나19 상황에 있는 중국인 유학생의 온라인수업 만족도 증진을 위한 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to confirm the structural relationship between communication ability, self-directed learning ability, and online class satisfaction of Chinese international students who have experienced online classes in the COVID-19 situation. To this end, a survey was conducted on 308 Chinese international students (male students: 143 and female students: 165) attending C University in D City in June 2021 to identify the structural relationship and mediating effect of the collected data using a structural equation model. The main results are summarized as follows. First, the communication ability of Chinese international students had a positive effect on online class satisfaction and self-directed learning ability, and second, the self-directed learning ability of Chinese international students had a positive effect on online class satisfaction. Third, the partial mediating effect of self-directed learning ability was confirmed in the relationship between communication ability and online class satisfaction of Chinese international students. In conclusion, it was found that through self-directed learning ability, the positive effect of Chinese international students’ communication ability on online class satisfaction was further enhanced. Based on these research results, implications for increasing the satisfaction of Chinese international students in the COVID-19 situation and proposals for follow-up studies were discussed.
