국문 초록

이 연구에서는 뮤지컬과 K-POP은 언어로 전달할 수 없는 감정들을 춤을 통하여 대중에게 전달하는데 목적을갖는다. 본 연구는 두 장르가 수많은 춤동작에서 다양한 의미들을 표현하여 메시지를 전달할 수 있다는 것을 알아보고자 한다. 밥포시의 뮤지컬 피핀 에서 특정장면에 연구자 외 2명의 안무전문가들의 의견이 일치한 것과 방탄소년단의 피땀눈물 을 채택하여 춤동작을 손, 팔 상체를 사용한 상반신동작, 골반과 다리를 사용한 하반신동작, 상반신과 하반신을 사용한 전신동작 세 가지 형태로 세분화한 춤동작을 분석하고자 한다. 그 결과, 뮤지컬과K-POP은 스토리를 담아 춤으로 감정을 표현하고 있다는 공통점이 있다. 그러나 같은 동작임에도 불구하고 각각의 영역에 따라 스토리는 전혀 다르게 전달될 수도 있다. 이러한 특성은 공간과 시간적 허용의 다양성에서의 차이라고 할 수 있겠다. 그럼에도 불구하고 두 장르는 신체를 활용한 움직임을 규정지어진 틀 안에서 다양하게 표현되고 있음을 연구에서 보여주고 있다. 춤 스타일은 시대와 문화적 차이에 따라 달라진다. 뮤지컬에서 주로 활용된스토리텔링 기법이 K-POP이라는 새로운 장르로 이어짐에 따라 대중문화를 더운 다채롭게 발전시킬 수 있다는 관점에서 제 2의 언어로서의 춤을 연구하는 것은 의미가 있다고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

Musical and K-POP aim to express emotions that cannot be conveyed through languages to the public through dance. This study aims to investigate whether the two genres can convey messages by expressing various meanings in numerous dance moves. Bob Fosse’s musical Pippin ’s typical scene has the point of agreed with two other choreographer and I had at the moment. BTS’ song Blood sweet tears contains movements of hand, arms, with upper body and legs, pelvis foots, knees lower body, using whole upper and lower body together subdividing three sections in dance. I precisely study and target it. As a result, Musical and K-POP has same purpose in the performing emotional expresses but, in the same motion showing different usages in the stories. It follows time and space limitation indeed. Nevertheless, in both genre body motions in dance still expresses. As a framed by limitation of times and spaces in this study. Style of dance will changes and turning by cultures or era. Technic of story telling in Musical adopted to K-POP genre in today. Much more public culture developing as second language study needed. Study of dance in time is truly meaningful for aiming.
